Pops. Your Umps are wrong for the bottom portion of your spreadsheet, still enough time to update for the gang.

They are Monday Nights', plus a column downward.. as I rewrote them from Monday's game earlier.

i cant find where your talking about, which sheet or tab?

2nd half under ...30.5 pt middle didn't hurt here.

Plus it was a reverse 20pt play. Don't know if that matters or not because we haven't seen many of them.

Kind of sucks, I had my GF do the halftimes for me and I would be at the bar or at the golf course and she would call me and let me know what the line was doing.

Now I have to be home to do it or find another GF and train her too.

the rookie umps are starting to show up in the rotations, and expect more as vacation time nears. also early announced umps are diff in some cases vs the closing box scores, such was the case with estabrook in milk and winters in sfo

strange shit is going on this year, as some of the hotels has changed as well. what's mlb trying to do keep more secrets. 1st cooking the balls, than humidity over control in the dome's, now hotel changes. conspirasy by the OS and vegas books. where's woodward and bernstein when you need them for something real important

some thoughts for the day

Looking over yesterday -

St Louis can't hit worth shit last 9 games - scored 2-3-0-3-2-0-2-1-1-3
I'm going to start looking at - how the teams are hitting/scoring. Can have 2 of the worst pitchers going but if the teams aren't hitting/scoring doesn't matter.

Check out Bostons Road under record

Glad it's all night games - hate the am games - if i'm busy at work i'm fucked

I'm looking at the 6th game listed in the WA_NPS in the SS. Can anyone offer any insight into how much effect this umpire has had on the scores in his previous outings this year in regard to the outcome? I understand the data doesn't lie but it seems out of character based on previous years and from such a small sample it can be misinterpreted and I don't want to go off half cocked. thx in advance.

everytime i do this i get my ass kicked for not waiting on umps but took the following already:

laa ov 9
kc ov 8-
nyy ov 10
det un 9-

not sure if i going to be around after 1pm, wife got some shit for me to do, and unless she's willing to make some concessions i'll prob miss the ump assignments which could piss me off alot

For those with the sheets, check out the OU record when the combined pitcher WHIP (column AV in the master) is 9. Now on the combined pitcher whip pivot table, add an element for opening line. Look at the OU percentage when combined WHIP is 9 and OU opening line is 9 or 9.5, or 10 with a much smaller sample.

Tonight the Detroit game and the Arizona game meet this criteria.

slim pickings tonite....nowhere near the amount of favorable match-up as there was last nite

leans to for today
lad-fla: seems like lad has fla number the past year in fla, going 4-0 and after facing Penny's performance last nite of 14k they get to face a lefty tonight where Florida is just 2-7 against them this year. LA should be able to hit Obermueller as he does not have very good pitching splits....lean to lad

col-stl: did not like the match-up last nite with Francis going for the Rockies, tonight gonna lean toward St. Louis, gonna follow two things here go against Bucholz as his splits shows that he has done nothing to impress at the major league level and go against the Rockies on the road and at St. Louis (where they have not done well)....I know that St. Loius is off to a horrible start but worth a shot

nym-sfg: glavine has not pitched well at at&t park since its inception.....in addition cain had horrible outing last time around, and i do not see that happening again as he has pitched pretty good at home....just seems like the giants do not give him enough runs, but after shelling lefty perez last nite and being 8-4 vs lhp gonna go with the small home fav with the giants

bos-tor: strictly a gut feeling lean to toronto, i know boston as well as tampa like the back of my hand and even though beckett is starting tonite, boston always seems to have a hard time in toronto, even though zambrano is on the mound, some how he will pitch the game of his life tonite, in additon, beckett has not faired well in toronto in the couple of starts he has had there

cle-ana: lean to ana with the basis of santana being almost un-beatable at home going 21-5 in his career....even though he has not faired well against the indians gotta go with the small home dog with the travel weary indians coming to town and lhp lee making his second start of the year.....

not a very good card tonite....

do you have excel 2007? the spreadsheets wont work if you dont

I'm working on my new Apple laptop as of right now and looking to invest in Parallels and then purchase Windows Vista. Just tell me the dates or week, whatever time period it is, and I will have it ready by then.

(Have the Parallels at my house, going to get the Vista right now.)

morning all

9, ctp said more back end loaded, to me it looked better after mid month, but that one of the reason i specified the amounts early on

Ok good to know, unfortunately for me $100 is my normal bet so I'm down a few but I'll keep watching and wait for them to heat up.

so your going to try and get the mac running vista and office 2007. dont you think a dell with vista already installed and office 2007 for about 300 would be a much easier and more cost effective option

wtf it's only money and time
