Since you did'nt give me an fu Sin. I guess I hit it right on the head on my "Heard JB bet a dime on every Root game" post. Pops warned us $100 a game NO MORE. If I remember right the root usually goes like 3-32 every year before it really picks up steam, and then it goes like 50-2, so all the guys that bet $100 a game are all up $15,000 on June 1st, just like Pop's predicted....Discipline JB...Disipline!!

$10 bucks a night on the beach. Including breakfast and laundry.

Dalat was great and Na Trang a bit more festive but some beautiful scenery here.

Reno was not what I thought, kinda run down and a bunch bums hanging out. The Peppermill was very nice.

ILMW, family is fine, just got back into town, a close friend was recently killed in Iraq and Ive been back east trying to help set up his wife and kids. Havent made a wager in about a week and a half and probably wont until things slow down.

Its always nice to come home and the first thing the wife tells you is that the 2 year old ruined the tv and a flat screen on the wall will prevent it from happening again. (20-1 my wife was in on the con)

Getting rained out with late afternoon storm, so looks like Ill need early reservations at a local pub.

Alot of building going on here in Na Trang (Dalat also) and looks like more than a few foreigners have discovered this country. I didnt care much for Saigon...too hot, too many people, and honestly, too many tourists to enjoy the place.

However, unlike other beaches Ive seen abroad they are keeping Na Trang clean and yet the prices have remained cheap.

As you mentioned, money goes a long way here and the rest of se Asia.

Was surprised with Cambodia. Siem Reap has really developed its tourism industry and Phonm Penh, while dumpy, wasnt the complete dump I had expected (actually alot of expats living in Phonm Penh).

Mostly renting the other stuff nightly, but have one Im probably going to bring along to Ha Noi next week.

A beautiful country that can only go upward from where its been since pops left.

Its worth the trip for me just watching the se asian people drive. Complete comedy for sure.
