Pops.... i am wondering if the humidity outside does affect the flight of the ball inside. Prime example of two complete opposites of the domes. Arizona has the dome closed 100% time once the heat hits that 90-100 degree mark but always has low humidity causing higher totals in the hotter months in summer. Where as here in Tampa, where the humidity does not start to pick-up until the middle of may give or take and it is hotter and sticky as hell outside. It seems as though as the summer wears one, the ball does not carry as well inside the dome. I know that it is air conditioned, but I wonder with the humidity being so high that it may still have an effect on the flight of the ball????

Do you still have that website for the humidity gauge??? The next time that the Rays come back to town, I will be going to a couple of games and wanna track the temp/humidity inside the dome. Also of note, the Rays will be playing 3 games in Walt Disney World mid week next week against the Rangers (same complex the Braves use for spring training).

no clue on indoor as none will tell us what there humidity is, would love to see some actual numbers from TB

i've been checking the humidity here in vegas with my gauge i just bought much more expensive and has wireless so i can do indoors as outdoors at the same time on the same unit, and so far humidity in my offices if over 50% higher than outdoors

thanks.....did not recall that was a cheat and cheezy looking gauge.....found one on-line for $25 that was marked down.....will order it and put it to work next week

the one i got was from wind and weather or some place like that but almost 10 times higher price. shit for the price it keep crabs alive so prob close enough for gov work

guys, i dont buy into that high low shit, many other factors other that high or low era. linear progression is the key in the wa nps, plus look at the line move fades. if no logical reason for a ov or under move vs hype like with SFO last night, fade the piss out of it. you had a number go down 1 full point to 7- with wind blowing out at almost 30 mph and very low humidity etc. so everyone is hyp a couple for good for shit pitchers
