The FLA/PHILLY game just went from 9.5 to 10.

Overcast now, with it being just wet out, no rain as of right now. I can update if anyone wants closer to gametime, i live close to the stadium. roach style, where you at mother, someone said you got lost in someone's black hole.

The Red Sox are reportedly hoping that Coco Crisp (oblique) can avoid the disabled list and return to the lineup this weekend against the Yankees.

"I think he’s doing really well," manager Terry Francona said. "I think he’s leaning toward really wanting to play. We’ll see. I think we’ve gotten to the point where we might not have to DL him unless he shows up real sore."

According to the Chicago Tribune, Jim Thome (rib) may be held out of this weekend's games.

Manager Ozzie Guillen said Thursday that he doesn't expect Thome to be placed on the disabled list.

Latest News:
Ken Griffey Jr., scratched Thursday because of soreness in his chest, said he woke up this morning and was in a lot of pain. However, he was feeling better after the game. Griffey said his stomach feels fine and this is the first time he's felt this kind of pain in his chest. It's unclear whether he's going to be sent for tests of any sort. Perhaps he'll be in Friday's lineup

In 2006 when the yanks/Bos played each other at night they were 10-2 o/u

This year at night they are 2-0 o/u

Anybody else like this play or did the shut out last night sour the Yank over. I dont know if I can pass up on the 9 now being offered.

2nd, just because your getting the spreadsheets now, and you have not done pdws duty or contributed, the distribution will stop, i know we have over 50 users receiving them now, and a couple have not posted any decent info this year, not even one post. so i'm in the process of reviewing the list now, which i expect will be shortened by the end of the week.

What if i emailed you some pics of my fat wife naked?

will that get me to the all star break?

just did the 1st test drive of the automated home and away era and whip and it worked very well. so it looks like we'll be able to start using those numbers starting on the may 1st pdws.

good news for the people that will be doing pdws starting in may, you will not have to get the home and away era and whip info manually. dam some people are sure lucky

nice job asu & ko

Wind is wsw 17-26 mph in Det. Thats straight in from ctr.

that's very strong, i really cant say how much a factor wind is in the new stadium from center. i do know that the odd makers take into effect the wind if it comes from right field in a specific direction

This is the only thing I could find on comerica and the wind

While winds at field level appeared to be blowing in on Opening Day, Granderson said they seemed like they were blowing in the opposite direction on the way out. That was one reason why Craig Monroe and Carlos Guillen couldn't get together on a first-inning popup that ended up being an RBI double.
Judging how the wind goes is tricky. American flags on top of the left-field scoreboard can blow in a different direction than the pennant flags beyond center field. Then, third baseman Brandon Inge said, there's the infield winds, which can sometimes be the opposite of the outfield winds if the wind swirls inside the park.

Does that contribute to unders I'd assume? When it blows out to right, or ctr. at more than 10 there have been very easy overs this year so far.

Can make it tough to hit with the wind blowing in your face like that, you blink and the ball is by you in a fraction of a sec.
