Pops or anyone else that is computer savy. this morning i tried to download what nick is offering and had some problems so i emailed him. Here is my question though, when we first started I downloaded the converter. when the masters are mailed out and the other data I can open it and read it, does this mean that I have everything I need to function? I will admit to being a dumb bastard when it comes to this, and on my end it appears I can read everything that is being sent. thanks.
for those with the complete spreadsheet and the ability to filter out the data using the pivot tables, the one items that is starting to stand out is humidity. the low humidity games 0-49 have many more overs vs unders 67-51 vs 50 plus has many more unders vs overs 30-58. that's for all the outdoors games. and if you believe in the laws of physics, look like they follow the rules, the more friction the more motion
no on all indoor games the number is 22-21. now i'll bet any money that the real humidity on those indoors games that went over was much less than 50% and those over's were much more than 50%. it's obvious why those stadiums are not releasing the real numbers, cause they are cooking the air
Pops are you saying the domed stadiums regulate the humidity (up or down) to give their team the edge.
Just looking at the 2006 Master it looks like Houston and Arizona actually lost more games with the roof closed while Milwaukee and Toronto won more. Just trying to figure out what your saying.
i dont have enough facts right now, still digging. but what i'm thinking is that depending on which teams are coming into play, breaking ball pitchers vs fast ball pitchers etc. right now one of those un proved conspiracy theory's
but i've been using 50% for all indoor games and they are 50/50, so there no where i can go with this w/o real numbers
spesh you have at least 3 games that the summary shows solid green or red accross the board b4 any umps, and all you want from the umps it that they are not the complete opposit of the way your going
to do the following you need to have the pivots working, but the process i go thru is i do pivots on these teams in the Avg Runs HV and OUAvgRunsbyLine and well as OUbyLine as see how the ov/un number for today holds up to those same trends. those are the key tab and pivot area that you need to learn how to use etc
