found this info you may allready know.......http://www.mrfizzix.com/baseball/stadiums.htm

Taken from this site
]Just like the altitude of a stadium, the higher the humidity, the less dense the air is. As a result, the ball will travel farther when the weather outdoors is more humid. But this statistic can be slightly deceiving. This is because the ball becomes moister and less elastic. This counteracts the affect the humidity has on the ball. As a result, the actually distance farther a ball will travel on a slightly more humid day is so small that it really won’t have a major effect on the game itself. Rain has the same effects on a baseball when it comes to elasticity.

I would recommend getting a ThinkPad IBM doesn't make them anymore but they are barnone the best out there. Just using one you feel like you are using something reliable they're made so well all other laptops feel cheap and fragile in comparions imo.

Thanks!

Is grip and spin all that important to a knuckler?
I was under the impression that a knuckle ball is thrown with zero spin.

that true, they want little or no spin on the ball, so will less humidity make the ball dance less or mo

I must being doing something incorrectly. When I do that nothing happens I just end up with static data. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

for the popsummary only need to copy past special 5 col from the pdws to that summary col a, home team, col e day/night, col i vis team, col v ump and col z al or nl, you know which col give you that same data on the pdws

on the wa nps it a few more, col c series game number, col d home team, col e home pitcher, col l d/n, col p visiting team, col q visiting pitcher, col BE umps, col bl al/nl and the two most critical col BT gets the Visiting starting pitcher l/r, and col BV gets the home team l/r

i open both at the same time using horiz mode and it take about 2 min to do both sheets. make sure you do edit copy after your drag down of the entire col in the pdws and do a past special values in the 1st row of that col. if you dont it will remove the drop downs from those cols and prevent you from entering the data manually if you have a pitching our ump change

I dunno. When Charlie Hough was here he needed a bit of wind to get his pitch to move around so it might be useful to check how Wakefield has done inside domes. As I remember he seems to do all right when there is no reported wind.

Latest News:
Hideki Matsui (hamstring) is expected to return from the disabled list Monday. Matsui batted nine times in a simulated game Sunday after going 2-for-6 in a two-game minor league rehab assignment. He'll likely be thrown right into the lineup against the Devil Rays.
