Pops,
Gotta ask what reasons did you have for the cubs over besides the umpire?
On the Pops summary, there was a steady stream of red across the sheet and would have thought the play would be an under or no play?

He mentioned the trend Lilly fit in to concerning coming off a start on E, if I'm not mistaken.

mlfp said what my thoughts were, bucked too many red trends to go with a pie in the sky, plus one other trend i went against as well. plus .5 or more line move toward the over in the NL were 6 ov and 18 unders (now 19 unders) ytd. one more game today in the NL with a plus .5 or more line move tonight is cinn. so remember do as i say and not as i do. when you step in shit you dont smell like a rose

no you were 100% correct, only green on the entire board was young. i think the big diff was in florida you had a couple of decent hitting teams, vs a couple here that cant hit for shit. it tough to buck that many trends.

no on the other side of the coine TB and Clev are as green as green can be, so it's going to take a great pitching effort by at least 1 team to keep the game under, or hirshbeck etc would help as well

fwiw, i really like the spot the Indians are in tonight. Just cause they've lost three straight and got their asses handed to them in the Bronx doesn't mean their on the skids. They ALWAYS get it handed to them in the Bronx. Must be all that loud music and the drugs, us innocent Midwesterners get all distracted n shit. Anyway, Sabathia is sneaky dominant right now, as in, he'll give up bullshit runs that don't matter but make sure he gets the win. I'm with you Pops on the over and I like a play on the Tribe to win as well, despite the juiciness.

Pops,
if tampa line stays at 9.5, the 18-2 under stat comes into play for that game. yet like you said its green everywhere, which is very hard to buck.
another play that falls in the 18-2 stat is the whitesox under 9.5
also 2 that were plays until the line moved up were cincy under and colorado under. But since those 2 fall in the line move post you mentioned above for the national league, am gonna still play those 2 even thou they moved off the 9.5 line.

off the spreadsheet.

when the humidity is between 50-65 in a national league game and the visiting team is starting a right hander starter, the record is 15 unders and 4 overs.

Sounds like some sort of baseball stat or something. Don't forget it's the third friday of the first month of the season in a year where A-Rod is off to a hot start and no regular season games fell in March.
