Working on the data for tomorrow and I am noticing conflicting pitchers for both Houston and Anaheim. Is it Rodrguez or Jennings and is it Carrasco or Escobar? Thanks for the help.

Almost 10 hours and I finally get my internet back. Don't know whats worse, losing my internet or losing money on the Hawks at +4. What an idiot I am. ASU, I hope you didn't follow my text I sent you.

Anyone playing the last two totals of the night?

I touched them, but barely.

b: you know i dont follow your plays, although you do find a sack of gold in pig shit from time to time. you just bend the rules too often, keep it up and your going to get more jail time

anyone here every watch the Ninja Warrior on G4. I wish they had lines on that shit, i'd bet against everyone. i cant recall anyone every finishing the entire course

1-1 tonigth, should have just bet the board on all the game over, other than the night west coast

oh well, tomorrow is another day, although i have to stay home and watch grand kids, help with the sub division annual garage sale, we'll get everyone here from north vegas looking to case out the joint

i'll send out the updated master and pdws as soon as i get the initial data

wont take long, shit i've been up since 3am and still not tired. god loves sex, booz and drugs.

Pops.....It is not indicated on any overnight lines but this quote from Torre has Rasner pitching Saturday.

<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR class=bg2><TD>Yankees manager Joe Torre announced on WFAN Radio Station in New York Friday afternoon that he would be shuffling his rotation around in response to the injury to Mike Mussina and a minor forearm problem with Carl Pavano. Kei Igawa will still pitch Friday night at Oakland, but Carl Pavano will be pushed back from Saturday to Tuesday vs. Cleveland. Darrell Rasner will now pitch Saturday at Oakland in Pavano's place.

Also this for the Angels since they placed Escobar on the DL Friday..

Player News

According to MLB.com, the Angels placed SP Kelvim Escobar on the 15-day DL Friday because of irritation in his pitching shoulder. The move has been made retroactive to April 9. Hector Carrasco will take Escobar's start on Saturday against the Red Sox.

i have no clue on any of those yet, it's all work in progress. 1st just set everything up to collect the day, about a days worth of work, and same goes for the temp and humidity and 5 inn vs game ov/un

but what i would like are whip numbers that split the world up into 7 buckets max.

as an example, not that this is true, but come up with a range that would indicate a 4.5, and that the range for 5 and one for everything above, than go to a range that would indicate 4 that 3- and three or lower. i know it has nothing to do with runs but walks but i hope you know what i'm talking about. once i have all the whip into those buckets i can start measuring home man runs on avg get scored by those ranges, we can always fine tune later if we need to, just need to get a starting point

We are on the same page, but our numbers are different. I did rotisserie baseball for years and these may be the ranges you want:

*under 1.10 (meaning an average of 1.1 runners on base/inning using hits+walks) TThese are your studs and there may be 10 in the league.

*1.11 to 1.20
*1.21 to 1.30
*1.31 to 1.40
*1.41 to 1.50
*1.51 and up.

I always found pitchers whose whip was 1.51 and up rarely could come up and pitch a great game, espically vs a guy in the top two levels. Usually those pitchers don't walk many, hense they don't beat themselves.

Pops: here is a link for the Whip. SI calls it ratio but it is the same -

Heading south for a 4 day trip tomorrow. What a great time to go too. Instructed my GF to be searching for 20pt plays and a few other things.

I'm still digging for gold in this pile of pig shit I play in.

damn pops....up early at em again this morning. I had more of a chance to mess with the pivots and such last nite and they do kick ass. Just let me know what I can do to help if not now, down the road. The info that you have started will be invaluable once the season kicks into full swing. I definately will (when time permits) be putting my own capping info that I use for sides into these spreadsheets. Gotta run for now to get my people eating business things done early to get back crush that man.

Pops, one thing that I started to incorporate into choosing sides and posible totals play. Is where that particular starting pitcher fall in the rotation of that team. If I recall a stat that I heard last year was like San Diego's number 5 starting pitcher had at one point lost 15 or so games. So, I have started to map on a daily basis on paper on how 1 vs 5, 3 vs 1 would go and how those lines are adjusted.

link to daily up to date pitching rotation depth chart along with daily news of players if any:
