Pops....love the excell 07.....have not had much of a chance to toy around with it, but the spreadsheets are awesome. Just let me know what I can do to help. Not to familar with the pivot tables, but by the looks of it, it does not look like it is hard to pick up. Will have alot of time this afternoon to look into it. My people eating food business is killing me on the early mornings this week and have to serve a bunch of crooked car dealership managers a $65.00 surf and turf lunch up the street while they screw their customers with a shit deal or two to make up for it.
With all the info you have on the sheet to date this far. Do you think stats on how pitchers perform at a certain park could be useful??? Other than the current year, home stats can be skewed as many of the pitchers will change teams. I found a site that breaks down each pitcher at each ballpark. In the case of a franchise having a new stadium in the past few years, it will breakdown the record of that pitcher for each park. Matter of fact it breaks down every park that pitcher has pitched in his career.
I am out til after 12:00 your time.
Compaq had 2-3 years w/no hardware probs...hp had taken over (pretty sure) but still making under separate names as now.Does it matter about date of mfg? Was that compaq prior to the h/p takeover?
Old saying, "if it hasor tires, you are going to have trouble with it". I guess same goes for computers, question is did they take care of it?
Pops, by no means scientific, but this Friday's OL v. last Friday's OL in NL/AL:fyi, todays games are the 1st shot of the odds makers to lower the lines in an attempt to move the numbers closer to 50/50. almost everyone is at least a 1/2 to 1 point lower and the numbers appear to be betting down even more as well. like i said last night when i did my summary sheets, can ever recall that much red on any one day in mlb in the past two years
be careful
..
i am very lucky..!!
..and find i get luckier when i look at more data; get more real info; correlate ; or look for key correlations..(aka.."fits")..and get a lot luckier after studying all day; the biggest grind of all is bases; you only get the all-star break off..!!
