Tuesday evening:

The Ballpark at Arlington (Texas Rangers)

Partly cloudy, game time temp around 60, south winds 5-10 mph, gust SSE up to 17, should be calmer by game time. No precip anticipated (as earlier reported). looking for a lotta hits tonight.

Dude, I put in my bet at over 9.5 -115 at Bodog and literally 3 minutes later it was 9.5, over -125 and 2 minutes after that it is now at over 10 -115.

Figured it out for real: Jeff Weaver's pitching.

Just dont like the steam of the line move..and with cold conditions im sure cuzzi strike zone will be slightly bigger than normal...and for an under ump makes me think fade the steam.

Don't forget, Jeff Weaver is the worst pitcher in the AL.

Eh, I can think of a few others. Sidney Ponson is one. But my over is looking dandy.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION MLB.TV? I have a quick question if someone can help.

4-0 Red Sox, bases loaded double by Coco Crisp.

anybody ever try this

I was going to bet the over 9 in cubs game and then I happened to check on greek where you can bet each team's respective run production. So instead of betting over 9 at -125, I bet Hou over 4.5 @ +125 and cubs over 5 @ +125. I figure even of one team does not show up I will still come out a little bit ahead, but now the game total is effectively 10 with the hook.

Has anybody ever thought about breaking up your over bets like this to avoid getting screwed when one team does not show up? The price does not always work out in every game anyway but im interested in this. It is kind of like breaking up your under bet in hoops to 1/2 full game and 1/2 first half in case you get goosed on OT or whatever.

Anyway I'm interested what people think. It may be one of those things that looks smart but is really dumb. Books are good at putting those out there.

column v and z in today's pdws appear to be incorrect. here are pop's instructions from a couple pages back on how to calculate the ave era in column v and total era in column z for those interested.

col O & V are just the sume of m&n and t&u divided by two

col x: game era is col M + T

col y: total WHIP is col P + W

col z: total ERA is col O + V

back to work

ham: tks for the input, the more time we can save by not looking at games that wont go the better. good shit on VM as well

If the game goes under and neither team puts up those runs you lose double.
