pops, i have a question.

On Houston's pitcher for tomorrow, Chris Sampson, he is listed as having an ERA under the "All Starts" column as a 0.61. He started 3 games in 2006 with a 2.12 ERA. He pitched 3 innings against Pittsburgh this year a few days ago to close it out but did not start.

Are those supposed to figured in those with his starting ERA for the sheet?

one would guess that the gg's starting heating up the longer goes the season in bases. will make a point to keep track. just cannot get into this bases thing yet. nothing like a dime on the line and 24 or 20 mins til a decison. who needs coke.

Joe, I assume the computer at your hotel doesn't have Excel loaded right?

Well, I uploaded a copy of tomorrow SS onto google and use their SS feature and it works well except for the color formatting of the columns if a cell is lit up etc. But overall the formula works well, auto calculate etc....

If you want it, send me an email and I'll give you direction to get to it. All you need is a browser that can get online and you'll be in bizness

Tuesday April 10th

morning, dam am i tired. dell tech suppor hung me out for about 3 hours, they are going to replace the mother boart to fix the SD card controller problem. they could never get it to work either. so much for taking a picture of war room setup here at the ranch

coachesplay: remember the pdws are the 2006 avg for the month of april, too many very large and small numbers to start out the year etc. yes and you should look the the starts they had this year and try to look for quality and qty vs the last year avg etc

i'm going to get some stars and check all of my OS to see if anything looks good for today. will be leaving here around 8am or so to head to the strip to take care of some biz, will be gone at least 4 hours

enjoy

p.s. the pdws for today were posted my me last night and should be a page or less back.

been up reading the final sheets u sent from last yr...tons of info there are u using last yr april data to come up with play for this april ..i notice alot of variences in what i come across for stats this yr compared to last yr..but both building same base...law of numbers i guess..and most have to settle down from bad starts and short starts that appear better than they really were.

not much on the head to head stuff for team vs teams etc, but more with respect to the day/night ov/un home vs away. your able to filter those last year pivots and say select the 1st two weeks or april and compair avg for scoring and pitching, just play with them you wont break anything etc. but remember just dont get two narrow in your focus with last years and same with this years

show notes: here's the key, when your betting ov/un at -110 you dont have near the amount of winners vs the guys that are betting -300 to -400 games etc, so you looking for the 60/40 or 40/40 type games, and win within that same range as well will make you a bunch of money

Anybody else got this message from today's SS geppi sent?

"PivotTable is not valid" is the message whenever I tried to use the pivot tables.

For example, I selected OUbyLine sheet, and then click on the InOut drop down menu, and unchecked the box "I" or "O" and I'd see the message above.

The SS had ran through MSFT 2007 converter.
