Tbone in looking at the new spread sheet. I taught my self excel so don't have all the wizards that you guys do. Could you give me a quick explanation in the formula that goes =floor( what does that stand for. I have been on the floor many a time but never saw it in an excel expression. I looked under names and saw nothing defined there. With out that part I am not sure no I know I don't understand. Percentages were all good for the different columns. The one that has the most plays can stand by itself meaning nothing can show up in the other 3 but if one shows up in the other 3 it also has to be in the one that can stand by itself. Without going back into the thread I am not sure you showed the percentages but I would not put them in here.

Strange as it may sound in cbb people were looking for more plays now too many yet winning percentages in nba are way higher than in cbb. Oh well.

To FLOOR means to round it down to the nearest number. In the SS, I used the FLOOR(value, 0.5) means to round down to the nearest HALF of a Point. Because the lines are in 0.5 increment so if a value is 0.7 it becomes a 0.5 and 2.3 becomes 2.0. It groups numbers in 0.5 increment easier to analyze.

Looking at my own spread sheet I don't agree. I use from the break this way. I did not round the number used what I have. I found 11 plays and it took out more good than bad. I may have done something wrong and my sheet is based on donbest close for game and open for 2nd half.

The way I read the data when dealing with the diff of -2 which we are...There was 1 LOSS and 2 WINS??? Very small sample to base a NO play OR a PLAY against....Did I misss something??

Either way now we are assured that One of us will win.....BUT IMO it is very early to be playing OPPOSITE........I might have stayed on the sidelines.........GL......Anyone see something different?

If we're fvcked on this play, Leisure would be the only one benefit from my sore fingers I put through this afternoon.

Live and learn. I played it too because of the phone alert while I was busy outside BBQing steaks for the kids. So didn't know that it fell into the -2 to -3 condition.

You're right Joe. If I had known that play comes with a warning flag, I would have stay on the sideline. But it's the first play of the nite, and we're all itching to play somethin'

my book opened at 99...which originaly showed a -1.5 on column J.

they then moved to a much better number which I played...but it then coumn J was -2.5. hmm...
