2 weeks ago it went 0-4 on a Wednesday. Ended up the week on a winning note. No clue. Might have to check into this if enough data. When there are several in one night if the first couple go down does it continue. That one might be hard to put a handle on.

Yes I did. Had a good week last week so not my money anyway. I came up with this crap so I will live by it. I do hope to have an answer tomorrow on multiple games especially losers. It is strange. Play like crap then one quarter they more points then they scored in a half. Probably why most people don't like the NBA.

Pops, your write up is pretty good. Your call here but a formula could be added to the col for the date then only one input and the rest fill in. Same thing for the schedule. Fill in one and have the rest add 2 to it. I think there is another one. If they are going to drag them down 2 cells need to be filled in otherwise the date and day increase by one.

Pitchers- all the duplicates. Will one be able to see all the pitchers on a team so they can grab the right Johnson not their Johnson and say now what.

500 under 198 1/2 local
400 over 195 Greek nice potential middle
on 193, Denver up 3 with the ball in frontcourt, foul maybe I get one side, instead STEAL and Rasheed hits 3 from past half court, overtime, no middle and I lose my larger bet..............

Pops,
Checked again this am and mlb.com still not posting Ump crews for 2007 season. However, saw this in SI this week. They are advertising the crap out of it. May help with team info along with team pages at mlb.com:
sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/mlb/teams/
Hope it helps.

Pops correct me if I am wrong but as far as ump crews you will not see them until a couple hours before game time. That is for the first game of their series at the park. Guess it is secrete info. Once there the rotation follows as pops said home to third and so on. Occasionally last year that did not happen. Someone gets sick or family issue. Another thing you all have to watch for is 4 game series. Sometime the crew is pulled and you get a new crew for one game. Not often but it happened.

Congrats to those that bigger balls than me. I stayed steady while a few did okay on the last one. I will have some info on this tonight. Must have been dreaming about a method to check daily stuff and have a plan.

Line moves for totals went 3-1 last night.

Tuesday March 27th NIT Round?

morning all, today i'll try to do some discussion on using the pivot tables in very basic terms. If you understand the concept, you will know how to put them to use.

ctp, correct on umps. 1st game of a series, 2 hours b4 game time at best, unless your able to determine the travel patters of the ump crew. i was able to do it last year near the end of the season last year, but not an easy task. What you said in you post is very true. Always check the two sources near game time, even if it's not the 1st game of a series, especially if you going with an over or under based on a key ump coming up next. In these cases the line would have move a great deal because of this, and if it does not happen you have one hell of a good number the other way.

let me get some stars and go thru my email etc

later

i dont see anything here that would lead me to be betting with or fading these moves either way. complete reverse on one and still 50/50 on the other. like you said, it's there call

Couple of questions on the men in blue. When the umps start a new series do they continue their rotation where they left off from the last series? And does Vegas know where the umps are going to be located the night before when they set the lines?

Also Pops I like the inclusion of the temp/humidity factor. I think pitchers/team that spends a month or so in the Northern climate then say all of sudden has to travel to Dallas in July could be the most affected.

they normally continue the rotation, but you wont know for sure until you check the 1st game of a new series after move night. many times that crew will be off the next series or two, so could be sick or etc. but i would say from experience that they continue 98% of the time in the same rotation. to be safe treat every first game of a series as a completely new event. Double headers are a different story, hopefully we wont have many of them early on.

last year vegas did not include any factors for umps in the opening line, personally i wish they were listed like pitchers. i made a few decent size bets years based on specific umps being behind HP and and they didnt go. I do know for a fact that on a few umps the OS either shadded the opening ov/un lines or they got bet up or down so fast it made your head spin, so yes they are watching, just like they are in cbb. so on a few guys were not going to advertise
