Check out column Z-it refers to column O and U but that combines visiting all starts ERA with home Avg ERA. seems like it should either be O and V or N and U to be consistent. ? Thinking back to the CBB sheets it seems like M and T combination makes sense if youre trying to project a total.
did this really just happen.
boston -toronto scored 34 points in the last 3:25 of the game. how could this even happen, am still in shock. They scored almost more in the last 3 then the whole entire game
post your email in cryptic format so the email police do pull you post like johnsmith at gmail dot com and i'll send you the initial email with follow on requirements etc
yes, i just finished writing it, i'll email it to youThe data fill in people. There job is two fold. First they prepare the data for upcoming games and submit it. Then when those games are done they have to fill in the score and other missing info maybe closing line and submit it again. That is the procedure correct?
not my best day, what do you think of just avg's all 4 of those vs either the two for home or away or all starts?
probably O and V the way you were setting it up-I think except in some unique situations the home/away split is not as severe for starting pitchers in baseball as it is for other factors in other sports. So I think you want a broader ERA picture. But having the home/road ERA in there lets you see the situations where it does come up, like the pitcher who gives up a ton of fly ball outs in his big home park and does just fine but struggles on the road, or the dome pitcher who struggles outdoors, etc.
Another point now that I think about it-unless columns N/O and U/V are meant to distinguish between ERA as a starter vs reliever, isnt there a redundancy there? Every pitcher will have a home ERA and an away ERA and that is the avg era in columns O and V. Unless you are trying to capture a starter/reliever split then the "all starts era" column will double count the overall era and undervalue the home or road era, I think.
utah 65 in the 3rd, scored 76 in the first half, what a day
