Actually very early on in this thing you were crowing that the pats and Brady will be vindicated and I told you they wouldn't. As far as laughed out of court....wrong.....if this was a civil matter...all they need is to show it is likely....which they have.

If you wanna know how the rest of this plays out you can just ask me.

who are you to decide "only civil court matters". I know why you need to choose that route, at least you're smart enough to know I'm right about the evidence.

Let me quote the last court that looked at Roger's work:

NEW YORK (AP) - An arbitrator Friday threw out Ray Rice's indefinite suspension by the NFL for hitting his then-fiancee and now wife in a hotel elevator, freeing him to play again.

The NFL said Rice, a free agent, is "eligible to play upon signing a new contract." Whether any team will consider signing him is another matter.

Former U.S. District Judge Barbara S. Jones said Commissioner Roger Goodell's decision in September to change Rice's original suspension from two games to indefinite was "arbitrary" and an "abuse of discretion."

Jones was deciding whether the NFL overstepped its authority in modifying Rice's two-game suspension after video of the Baltimore Ravens running back punching Janay became public.

-------------------------------------------------------------

history will repeat itself, the defense hasn't even had it's day in your yet you choose to ejaculate prematurely. Try to keep it in your pants before Roger gets bitch slapped again

You keep saying it would be laughed out of court but for one, you have no way of knowing that because if this was a criminal case, chances are one of the ball boys who Brady had deflate would flip and testify against Brady. And you're talking criminal case....in a civil matter the report alone could find him guilty.

I read the report.....you should take your patriot blinders off and read it as a neutral person....you would come up with the common sense answer most people already have.

U.S. District Court Judge David Doty ostensibly cleared the way for Peterson to return to the league Thursday afternoon when he issued an order to reverse NFL arbitrator Harold Henderson’s denial of Peterson’s suspension appeal. In a 16-page ruling, Doty maintained that Henderson “simply disregarded the law of the shop and in doing so failed to meet his duty” under the collective bargaining agreement.

does anyone see a pattern here?

and can anyone tell me if a U.S. District Court is a civil court?

too damn fucking funny

"This is the 2nd time the Patriots' organization has been docked a 1st-Round pick; no other organization has lost even one since 1980"

Let that sink in, folks. That is how outsized the Patriots cheating is compared to the rest of the NFL.

Right. Yet some will say there is a double standard in favor of the Pats....laughable.

My guess is that they get that pick back. We'll see.

agree with Coward this morning....If you're going to obstruct an investigation, you're probably going to get hit hard..Pats & Brady only have themselves to blame...This has nothing to do with the Colts, or 20+ years ago..Its about the Pats telling the Wells investigation to fuck off.

While yes, it is why they got hit so hard.. But people need to put aside their feelings about the patriots..

The nfl has now said basically you have to give us every single thing we ask for, no matter if it's personal info or if they have no grounds to obtain it, or you are essentially guilty and they can dish out whatever punishment they see fit. Teams might be celebrating now, but just wait until it hits them.. Just not a good way to do business for lack of a better term.

Imagine your employer going after you for taking a 62 minute lunch, not really being able to prove you did it on purpose, and then wanting your personal (not company issued) computer or cell phone. Yiu tell them no, and now you're suspended without pay for 3 months.

What!?!

Brady not cooperating fully is the reason for the suspension.....

NFL threw the book at the Pats for being stupid after past allegations.....

I think the Pats were lucky that the suspension wasn't longer......and a million bucks is like a hundred to us knowing the money Kraft has......

Ok, neither the NFL, or Ted Wells, wanted Tom Brady to "hand over his phone"

Tom Brady appeared for a requested interview and answered questions voluntarily, he declined to make available any documents or electronic information (including text messages and emails) that we requested, even though those requests were limited to the subject matter of our investigation (such as messages concerning the preparation of game balls, air pressure of balls, inflation of balls or deflation of balls) and we offered to allow Brady’s counsel to screen and control the production so that it would be limited strictly to responsive materials and would not involve our taking possession of Brady’s telephone or other electronic devices. Our inability to review contemporaneous communications and other documents in Brady‟s possession and control related to the matters under review potentially limited the discovery of relevant evidence and was not helpful to the investigation

We can stop with that strawman now.

Semantics..

And I love how EVERYONE says the league is untrustworthy and incompetent in everything they've done under goodell, but now all of a sudden they are trustworthy and won't leak anything and shouldn't be questioned.

District Courts are not criminal courts.

You are comparing apples and telephones (not even 2 fruits).

In the Ray Rice matter, there was not a 240 page report.

In the Adrian Petersen matter, there was not a 240 page report.

Neither Rice or Petersen are accused of being untruthful to the NFL.

Remember when the Bountygate suspensions were thrown out?

Semantics?

What you are saying is not at all true. If I have the opportunity to allow my counsel to screen any material prior to providing it to investigators, that is not "turning over my phone" in any sense at all.

Since Brady's counsel would have turned over any related material, what, exactly, would be "leaked"?

Neither Rice or Petersen are accused of being untruthful to the NFL.

Ray Rice there was video so NO report necessary
Adrian Peterson there was a documented hospital visit for his son so no report necessary.

Both were caught red handed and their guilt was undeniable.

Much different situation here although you will try to spin that.
