It says a lot about the league that most would believe that they made colts/pats week 5 on purpose.
The league looks worse and worse each week. From the beginning all these leaks, all reports are contradicting each other. There's no way he gets more than 2 games, when all said and done. From everything I heard, there's still a chance he gets zero games.

In 243 pages, they still have nothing to show or point to where he asks anyone to do anything wrong. This is absurd.

Does this mean Pats fans will admit this happened? .

My first thought too...

most irritating thing about all of this was the denial to no end by the fan base

the right response: LOL, we still won the superbowl tho...
Wrong response: arguing it's not a big deal, it's not cheating, ect...

243 pages and have zero that Brady ever asked anyone to to anything wrong.

fine the team, whatever. But to come down on Brady like this just shows the league playing to the masses and the 31 other owners IMO.

the ass kicker was Brady not cooperating and handing over his texts/e-mails

imo that sure made it look like he was guilty of something

Should have gotten Hillary Clinton's attorney. Brady should have said I will turn over the communications I deem pertinent to the investigation, no you cannot have my cellphone/server because I have personal/medical/financial info the NFL does not need to see and by the way the server has been wiped at regular intervals to protect my PII.

What if Brady is creeping? Do you really think some NFL lackey is not going to leak the texts to TMZ for some quick cash? I would have not turned over my personal cellphone either.

League has disgraced itself again.. Not sure how any owner can want this clown being their commissioner and representing their league. The league has become a parody of itself, the Goodell era is so absurd it would be laughed out of the production room of a fictional nfl tv series.

It's unreal

What I don't get is if ball inflation is so important that it results in fines, suspensions and loss of draft picks why did the NFL allow teams to control the ball pressure? All the refs do is check the tire pressure and then give all of the balls back to the teams. That's like the fox guarding the hen house...

Colts GM told NFL that Pats balls were light. A stern warning before the game probably would've done the trick.

I doubt the deflator would risk his reputation if he knew the league was onto him.

because it's never been important until it was the patriots. Rodgers openly talked about over inflating and hoping refs wouldn't catch it. The freaking Vikings were practically putting the balls in toaster ovens on the sideline last year. Both these the same season as this deflate nonsense. But now it's an issue lol.

What I'm saying is it should never have been an issue. The NFL should have been the ones in charge of ALL of the footballs all along. Everybody knows if you put an individual or teams in charge of something like this, the rules are going to be broken. Especially since nobody in a competitive field of sports or business has any integrity these days...

I don't know much about Goodell but I'm pretty sure the owners don't mind him - isnt the NFL doing great financially? - plus, it isn't easy dealing with these knuckleheads and the dumb shit they do and are gonna do - for real, I would imagine 70% of these dudes would be in prison if not for football

"This is bad, folks. Your football dynasty is no longer credible. The Patriots are a punchline across America."

Patriots fans have no idea how poorly they have come across in all of this.

Don't know about that. Big NFL fan, don't care about the Patriots, and I don't think it matters at all. Big fucking deal, deflated balls. I guess we should ban every HOF WR who ever used stick'um on their gloves or any MLB pitcher whoever scuffed a ball in their career. If you are losing games because of a deflated ball, you were not going to win the game anyway.

All this shows is how big the NFL is. Post-draft, 2+ months from training camps, a dead time in the NFL and what is everyone talking about? Rangers/Caps game 7, last second shots in the NBA playoffs, MLB, TPC? Nope, talking about a QB and his deflated balls as the top headline for all sports talk shows. The NFL is king.

and, after 3 months of propaganda, probably this but maybe more likely that, ridiculous interpretations of texts, the NFL's private attorney whose not independent by any sense of of the word (in the real world that is, doesn't matter in a kangaroo court) and ignoring for the very same facts they themselves put on the table

after 3 months of bureaucratic fog (and the people who embrace this stuff like to question the objectivity and judgement of others, too funny)

after 3 months of a witch hunt, 3 months of framegate, 3 months of a 3 ring circus

the Patriots get the ball. I expect the most aggressive most defiant and most assertive defense ever seen in such circumstances.

The low tag team of Wells and Goodell even chose to slander low wage employees, I hoping they bring litigation against out of control thugs with far too much authority, especially considering their total lack of judgement shown in every matter they touched. The Saints, Rice, AP, they're just clusterfucks and it's time to end their reign.

C'mon Kraft, don't let me down.

Anything short of an absolute defiant and aggressive legal response by both the organization and Brady will swing my opinion to guilty guilty guilty, but I just don't see that happening

after the way he lied about Ray Rice, something that can be proven beyond reasonable doubt in the court of law, he should be run out of town and nobody can argue he's an honest man with good judgement. That horse as left the barn, he's a documented lying jackass.

I hope that's used against him, which would once again be consistent with the type of arguments he makes.

I sure fucking hope Kraft does a better job of defending his team then benson did.
Benson rolled over and took it like a pussy.

That is one of the things that pissed me off the most.
