I don’t know what happened to Brunson last night because I wasn’t watching the game. He had 16 points in 18 minutes and then never played another minute. I know the starters didn’t play in the fourth quarter, but he only played a couple minutes in the third quarter. I assume there was an injury or illness. Either way, he cost me another positive night. I will update later with props for tonight.

I lean Dallas tonight. Detroit is on the fast track to the worst record in the league without Cade. Ivey might be back for this game and Christian Wood is questionable with an illness. If Ivey is back and Wood is out, I might be able to get a better line than -8.

Tough to lose the Warriors first quarter bet by a half point. That was the difference between a positive and negative night. There are a few leans I have for tomorrow, however it's a fool's errand to bet the NBA the night before. One lean I have is the Bucks, but I want to see their lineup first. I don't think Middleton is going to play a back to back after making his season debut tonight. He might not be the only one who rests either, especially against Charlotte. I'll post some plays hopefully once I know more.

Nothing for me right now. Glad I didn't bet the Bucks early. I had a feeling they were going to rest their starters. I'm keeping my eye on the later games, primarily the Warriors. I will update if necessary.

I lean Pacers, but there's a lot of injury uncertainty in that game. Haliburton is questionable with a lingering groin issue that seems to have been affecting his play. On the flip side, Lilliard was targeting today's game to return from his calf injury. That is the last game of the night, so we have time to sort that out.

LeBron is in and the Lakers have been playing well lately, particularly Anthony Davis. They do not want to miss the playoffs two years in row and want to incentivize the front office to move Westbrook and picks for some role players that can help. Anyway, I like the Lakers tonight lol. Still monitoring the injury situation in Portland.

Bulls made a run, but ran out of gas. I was hoping the Kings would be the team to get tired since they played yesterday. Two easy winners in the other games so I’m not complaining.

Mavericks -2.5 (-115), 2* (-3 is fine too)

Tough spot for the Celtics. Playing in Canada on the second night of a back to back is never easy. The Celtics do get Smart back, but will be without Horford and possibly Brogdon with an illness. Boston doesn’t lose very often, however I think this is a good scheduling spot to play against them.

Really disappointed in the Heat. I got great closing line value with Morant and Jackson Jr. being out. Somehow Miami loses outright. I lean in their direction tomorrow against Detroit, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami rests a couple guys against a bad team since they played today.
