Blazers -6 (-110), 1*

While I wish Avdija was playing for Portland, I’m not going to be scared off here. I know Utah is on a massive two-game winning streak despite management wanting the team to lose, but this is not a good spot for them tonight even if they were trying to win. Markkanen is out. George is out. They are trying so hard to lose that they just told JJJ to get elective surgery to hopefully lessen his injury risk in future years. So he’s obviously out. Portland plays hard every night. They had won three straight before losing to Minnesota last night. I think they get back in the win column heading into the all-star break. GL

Good way to go into the break. I can’t ask for much more then being about +25 units at this point of the season. It has been a solid four months. I will try to keep it going when the season resumes.

I will post any all-star related bets I make over the weekend. Usually I take a stab at the three point contest at the very least.

Bulls -5 (-110), 1*

If you told me the Wizards were going to score 134 points, I would have felt pretty good about McCollum going over his prop. Unfortunately, he shot 4-14 and didn’t quite get there. Still, I will be targeting guards and perhaps centers who play the 76ers until they show an ability to play some defense. If I have anything to add, I will do so closer to tip. Unfortunately, it’s hard to post bets too far in advance in many cases with the nba due to the nightly question marks surrounding the availability of some players. I don’t expect any surprises from Chicago. We know Coby White will be out. Everyone else who matters was healthy last game and should be available tomorrow night. Chicago has something going right now despite not being one of the more talented teams. I think they keep their undefeated run going and get a convincing win. GL
nice call targeting that matchup and yeah the nba injury guessing game makes it tough to lock stuff in early bulls have been playing with good energy lately so laying the points makes sense hope they keep that run going gl

I do lean Indiana in the first game. OKC is even more shorthanded without Caruso and Wallace. Maybe the Pacers have a chip on their shoulder with everyone basically writing them off this year. I need to see them play a game first before I bet them. In addition to Haliburton, McConnell is out for at least a couple weeks due to injury. I want to see how they handle ball pressure, which they will get from the Thunder. And how they get into their offense when they aren’t in transition. I will be watching the game, but no bet for me.
makes sense okc pressure can really bother teams and with indy missing ball handlers it could get messy smart move just watching first to see how they handle it before putting money down

I just got home from work and haven’t had a chance to dive in yet. I don’t like anything from the games that are tipping off in 15-20 min. I will try to post any bets I have in a half hour or so.

Knicks -4 (-110), 1*
Suns/Spurs under 229.5 (-110), 1*
Celtics -6 (-110), 1*

If you can only get -4.5 for the Knicks and -6.5 for the Celtics, I would feel comfortable betting both of those numbers. GL

Hornets +5.5 (-110), 1*
Heat -3.5 (-110), 1*

I am going to bet the Lakers. I don’t think LeBron is going to play, so I’ll wait and see how low the spread goes once that is official. I’m also going to bet Denver. They played last night and I wouldn’t be stunned if Murray sits. As long as Jokic plays, I am betting the Nuggets. There’s just no reason to rush and bet them or the Lakers quite yet.

Lean Bulls, but I’m going to pass. If Kawhi is out, I will bet Orlando. Waiting to find out his status.

I think I’m going to pass tonight. Only three games, nothing really stands out. Nice 8-2 run coming out of the break. I will have 1-2 cbb bets in that forum.

Hawks -12 (-110), 1*
Knicks +4.5 (-112), 1*
Hornets -8.5 (EV), 1*

I might add a couple more. I have a couple leans that haven’t made it across the finish line yet. I’m a little surprised the Knicks are getting 4.5. That means the Cavs would be favored on a neutral court, which I’m not sure if I agree with. I did bet the Cavs to win the title preseason, it’s not like I hate the team. Harden makes them better, although his postseason history worries me. I just don’t know if I agree that the Cavaliers are definitively better then the Knicks. I need to see more. I wonder if the bump they got from acquiring Harden is wearing off. Often you see teams get a bump when they acquire a good player or get a good player back from injury. Then that wears off. The Cavs had a nice win streak and then lost to OKC without SGA or Jaylen Williams in their last game. I wonder if they are going to level off a bit. Not go into the tank, just go back to winning 60% of their games as opposed to 100%. Something to think about if they lose again tonight. GL
