I’m a little interested in the Lakers tonight. It’s not often that you get a good price on them since they are such a public team. With that said, the Clippers have been playing very well lately and Kawhi could return tonight. Once I know if he is playing and I see where the spread ends up, I will let you know if I am betting the Lakers or not.

I like these spots for both teams. Both at home with their opponent playing the second of a back to back. I think this is when not having Garland or Merrill can hurt the Cavs. It’s one thing to be shorthanded for one game. But to be shorthanded on back to back nights is tough. Suggs is back for Orlando which is big for them. The Celtics had to go to double overtime in Brooklyn last night. Now they are on the road again against a fresher Chicago team.

I think I’m going to bet the Wolves in the rematch with Golden State. I want to bet it now with the thought that Steph might rest. Although I think that is partially baked into the line already. Yesterday’s spread was -5.5. Today it is -7.5. Horford and Melton will rest for the Warriors, but they aren’t worth two points to the spread. Also, there’s a chance Minnesota rests Gobert or Edwards. So I’ll wait for whatever the fair number is based on who is available and decide what I want to do then. GL
