I would like to bet Golden State tonight, but I’m sure they are going to sit people. If they only rest Horford, I will bet them. If this is a game where they are resting their vets, I can’t get involved. Very annoying night. Grizzlies up 101-100 and get outscored 11-0 to close the game. Nets and Celtics combined for 123 first half points and then scored 89 in the second half. Certainly thought it was going to be a 2-1 night at worst. I will update later on.

I don't understand why anyone would buy tickets in advance for NBA games. You never know who's playing game to game. Its become a horrible product for the fans. For that reason I don't even look at teams for a possible bet if they are on the front or back end of back to back games.
Yea it has become a real problem. You are exactly right. People buy tickets to a game and then they get screwed. Look at the Heat game last night. People bought tickets to see Steph and the Warriors. Kerr sat all his starters with fake injuries to rest them. Curry, Butler, Green and Horford all didn’t play. Ridiculous.

I am considering the Hornets. I will probably pass with them resting Ball and Miller. They play hard and it’s not like Atlanta is fully healthy. No Young or Porzingis. Kennard and Okongwu are questionable. Right now it’s a pass for me. GL

I just want to say one thing. It’s easy to lament not making a bet that would have won, as I could tonight with the Hornets. Trust me, you will have as many times when you don’t make a bet that would have lost. It is important not to make a bet unless you really believe in it. Yes I could have went 3-0 tonight, but I’m very happy with 2-0. Onto tomorrow.

I might add the Lakers to my card. Clippers have been horrible on the road. Their only two road wins are against the Hornets and Mavericks. They lost at Utah, Golden State, Phoenix, Boston, Philly, Orlando and Cleveland already. Lakers are in a pretty good place health wise. Only Ayton is out for this game. LeBron has gotten a couple games under his belt. Might add that one in a few hours. GL

I was waiting to see if this number would go back to +3, but it looks like we are holding at 2.5. Despite that weird loss to the Nets, the Celtics have been playing their best basketball of the season. 5-1 over their last six games. I think they can win this game and finally hand Detroit a loss. Might have 1-2 more later. GL
