July 22nd
Pirates F5 ML (+100), 1*
Red Sox/Phillies F5 over 4.5 (+105), 1*
Red Sox ML (+155), 1*
These games that start before 7pm local time are unnecessary now that games take less then three hours per night. We deserved to go 3-0 last night but the Yankees infield defense had other ideas. I will have action for the rest of the games shortly. GL
July 22nd

July 24th
Orioles ML (+105), 1*
I stunk yesterday, hand up. It happens but it always sucks. I’m going to take a shot on the Orioles at plus money. Morton is basically auditioning for playoff teams today. He might get one more start next week right before the deadline, but this is a big one today. I’m sure at his age he would like to pitch for a contender as opposed to having a lost season with Baltimore. He just has to be pretty good to be effective against this Cleveland lineup. GL
July 24th

He might get one more start next week right before the deadline, but this is a big one today. I’m sure at his age he would like to pitch for a contender as opposed to having a lost season with Baltimore. He just has to be pretty good to be effective against this Cleveland lineup. GL

Phillies ML (-130), 1*
I thought I was going to bet the over in this game. Then Judge got ruled out with an elbow issue. Castellanos is out for the Phillies. I could take a contrarian over, especially if this total were to get down to 8.5. For now, I’m going to bet the Phillies. Their offense has come back to life after scuffling for a while. They had a nice series against Boston. They scored 12 runs against the Yankees last night. I’m not sure how successful the Yankees will be against Suarez with five lefties in the lineup. More to come later. GL
July 26th

Guardians ML (+117), 1*
I am a little nervous only because of the way the Guardians lost game one of the doubleheader. Still, I think we are getting a good price to bet them. I am not taking away from what Bubic has done this year, but I think he might struggle against divisional competition who has seen him repeatedly. When he faces a team who has never faced him before like the Marlins last weekend, he has dominated. The Guardians have a few guys who have seen the ball pretty well out of his hand. Martinez is 3-3. Ramires is 5-9. Arias is 3-5. I will take a Guardians team who really wants this win to try and continue the post-deadline momentum they have going.
