Dont you guys understand the bulk of the advertising they paid for is visible all over the place now. What would they have paid for that they would pull that would effect all they have out there in print now. Its an empty gesture.

I do not know whats coming but some things are becoming plainfully clear.

I am not going to say as I dont want to tip off the enemy but it is funny and they will get what they deserve. I cant wait actually.

I hope this does not mean the end of BOS, i was stupid to have a large balance there that I desprately needed. I have been reading all the news and posts on forums hoping to find someone w/ good news somewhere for me to hope on. Has anyone have any idea on why no lawyers showed up yesterday for the hearing if they were going to fight or work with the DOJ on the ban. Seems to me the're hope is all depending on getting the ban lifted, but are they really trying or getting ready to close shop?

only a dime?

whats ww limit

You have to phone in your bets...don't be surprised if the favorite line moves on you when you call in.

If you are betting the favorite, there is a $100 limit.

If you are taking the dog line, there is no limit. :toast:

Don't let that part worry you. They were doing this before the arrest.

I know money in the offshore betting account is by no means like money in the bank which is FDIC insured. But I really do not understand how comes a public listed offshore company could do things like this, holding the customers' account for weeks without any ligitimate reason. They are not subject to any restrictions? Their upper lvl managers who make this decision won't face any possible legal actions?

Each day of delay is another days interest in the bank.

The interest on the millions they are holding would be a years salary for many of us!

Good one sugarbear baby, do you know what's coming, or don't ya? What is it, BoS is going to open back up tomorrow and they're stock is going to go through the roof! Player confidence regained and people fighting to get in line for WU to re-up?

The "others" named in the indictments are shitting their pants at the moment because there is a "chance" of extradition, not on gambling charges, but raqueteering, fraud, and tax evasion. Those ARE extraditable crimes in Costa Rica. You can bet they're a lot more concerned about saving their own asses than refunding any player balances or reopening to take wagers.

This is going to backfire in the Feds faces big time in the end Ralph. I am surprised you dont see it. Do not think of things in the present term. Look back a few years then match it to the Feds actions and what do you see?

I say BoS is putting on a great defense is my only hint for what I am thinking. Think like a buisness man. Its right there. Not much thought went into this from the Feds side thats for sure.

Wouldn't be so sure about that SB, so far because of federal indictments and restraining order BoS has closed up operations, at least temporarily, and also froze trading, and now cancelling all advertising contracts. If you think that BoS is doing this to say, "hey, we've agreed to all your requests/demands". Well, they haven't. Only ONE person named in the indictments is in custody, the rest are currently fugitives from american justice. The restraining order also demands they repay their americans clients balances, they haven't even hinted at doing that as of yet. Matter of fact, up to this point, they've been blaming the very indictments that order them to repay as the reason they can't repay. BoS management made a statement a couple days ago saying they "hoped" to be back online soon, only because they cut loose carruthers?? And the rest of the gang?

The DOJ has achieved exactly what they've wanted to up to this point, BoS is no longer operating, and if they comply to all of the DOJ's wishes, it will formally mean the end of BoS. They've done a pretty good job at sealing that fate already, afterall, if BoS, by some miracle, would reopen, what knucklehead would play there now?

The longarm of american justice is far reaching, and if anyone thinks they're going to be pacified by only having carruthers in custody and BoS stop schilling to americans, they're sadly mistaken. The DOJ isn't going to rest until they get what they're after, and that's ALL the people named in the indictments, at a minimum G. As well as payment of back taxes, that they're claiming are several billion. As well as relinquishing their american customer base, which is said to be at least 90%. You tell me, as a businessman, what does that signify to you?
