Not suprising. They are fucking toast, come on, accept it.

Now can we work on some type of bail out? or for that matter verifying funds?

People just want their money back at this point. I think most could care less if it stays open. Who would want to deposit money or wager on games there at this point?

They should pay out all customers accounts first before they demand advertising money.

If they did that they would have at least one leg to stand on in requesting advertising money back from sponsors.

I can assure you BOS will not pay anyone anytime soon as that is their only gambling chip they have. If they payout everyone now then they have nothing to make a deal with. They purposely not paying as there hope is anger by americans may put pressure on DOJ

Netteller could also complicate things by not doing buisness with BoS or refusing to fund there accounts.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

One would think

That they don't have any outs in the advertising contracts that are prepaid. They bought the space if they tell sites to take it down then that is there choice and and no refund should be offered. Due to that space could have been sold to someone else.

If BOS refuses to pay its customers BEFORE getting a pro-rated refund from the sponsors, then the sponsors should take the $ and divy it up between BOS customers if possible.

Not sure how realistic that would be, but it sounds good in theory? At least the fucked over customers would get something, anything.

Not good news, though.

Kind of ironic how they're asking for advertising monies to be returned, but have made no offer of returning player monies. Citing DOJ requests recently as to why they're still closed, etc. The DOJ also is requiring them to return player balances, which interesting enough seems to be the only DOJ request that they're not concerned with.

Advertisers shouldn't return one dollar until player balances are returned. They could always tell BoS that they haven't met their "rollover requirements!!":puppy:

I can see why they are cancelling the advertising contracts - trying to comply and play nice with the DOJ- they have not closed their doors though, at least not yet- I am chatting with a friend online that is there working now.

take this for what its worth...ive called about the advertising pullout and was told it is one of a few things they are negotiating with doj so they can get the order lifted. but my thing is if the doj wants them to give us our money then why not lift the order so we can get access to our accts?

Bigbet, WHY IN THE HELL are you so certain that no one is going to get paid??? RELAX....you're getting yourself all wound up over nothing-at least at this point.

Son of a bitch, if you read enough Bigbet posts, you'd think that they had already vacated their offices & skipped town.....which is so far off base, it's not even funny.

Just F"ING RELAX.....enough is enough.

I can certainly understand BB's frustration and paranoia...dude's gotta shitload of cash stuck there that he feels he'll never see again. I'd be pissed/paranoid/bitter too, and also be exploring different avenues to get my $ back, as he is.

Maybe he's overdoing it a little...and maybe he's a little too pessimistic...but I don't blame him at all.

i feel like big bet gave them every chance by leaving a hefty balance with bos - they are the ones who should be doing something to make the players feel more comfortable about the situation

bos is/was and will always be a piece of crap

Well, I think he sees the writing on the wall. But one part of his question is just asking to "verify funds", and I don't think that's an unreasonable request whatsover. It wouldn't be difficult to do since there is a good relationship between the owner of the rx and BoS management.

All of us that don't have financial interests in BoS surving or not, and looking at the situation through untainted glasses, can clearly see this book isn't going to survive. Whether they refund player balances or not is another story. But, BoS certainly has never had the reputation of being an organization with principles, why grow them now?

Better to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Listen SUPERMOD.....you F*CKING RELAX.

Yes, playing at this shit book was my own doing, and it was everyones doings with Panam fucking tanked. But a lot were enticed in with insurance offers and promises that they have changed, and were getting on the straight and narrow.

Now look at it from MY SIDE! I email MartyJ when all this shit hits the fan, he assures me my money is 100% SAFE. Yea, I have no one to blame but myself, but then I get the 10K insurance plan offer I read, and now I cant even get a straight answer on if it stands or now. Which I doubt it does.

I come on here to express concerns, and I get some uptight, supermod telling me I have patience of a 4 year old. WTF

Why can't the RX make a statement on the 10K insurance plan??? Why not list what a legitmate stiff is? Hell, they can't even do that. No matter what happens, if BoS tanks and doesnt pay, it is a STIFF.......NO, IF, ANDS OR BUTS ABOUT IT.

Ok, this 4 year old must go now............Don't worry, you won't hear a peep out of me again.
