set a date for when u want to quit-2 to 3 wks from now. next wind down ur smoking, get as close to zero as u can as your quit date approaches. u can u gum, patches, or other aids. list reasons why u want to quit, write them down and stick that paper somewhere handy, where u can read it periodically. smokes suck, expensive, u don't really want to smoke. just understand that nicotine is an addiction & that you are addicted to it.
