Rush: 2002, Hartford, CT, their first show back after a long break, 3 hours of getting pounded by their audio/visuals and massive sound
Guns N Roses, Deep Purple, Aerosmith: late 80s, Giants Stadium, (GnR recorded their Paradise City video at this show, they played it twice to make sure they got enough footage)
Robert Plant/Jimmy Page: 1998, Phoenix, for those of us too young to catch the original Zep, this was as good as it got.

For some weird reason, I don't really remember much of many of the concerts I saw in the 70's

or yea, Black Sabbath was pretty cool too

I do remember booing Boston off the stage following their 30 minute performance

(1) Heart/Kansas - 1982 BJCC Arena , both bands were in their prime and on top of their game , and surprisingly had a killer light show with laser lights and special effects that would have made a pink floyd concert proud.

(2) Guns N Roses - 1991 B'ham race Course (just for the train wreck) the concert was in the infield of the horse track which was reduced to mud after it rained all day (and from the smell it wasnt just mud) people were throwing mudballs including on stage. ... At 1 point Sebastion Bach just stopped in the middle of a song and grabbed the mic and said the next person who throws mud at him is getting their ass kicked , sure enough somebody threw mud and he jumped into the crowd and started fighting.

Later in the show Axl Rose threw a temper tantrum at the sound crew and he walked off stage for about 30 mins and then came back. ... While he was gone Slash went into an amazing 20 minute guitar solo. The concert lasted well over 3 hours even though there were several delays.

...Just an absolute train wreck , but awesome.

(3) Elvis -1976 , this was just a few months before he died , and you could tell he was very medicated. He tried to make some kind of George Jones joke about no-showing but he said Glen Cambell instead of George Jones and when his manager corrected him he dropped an f bomb (B'ham in 76 was not the right place or right time for the f bomb)

U2 - Joshua Tree tour - 1987 (Tampa Stadium)
The Cult (w/ Red Hot Chili Peppers opening act) - 1991 (San Diego State Ampitheater)
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven tour - 1992 (St Petersburg)

Not sure of if that's my "Top 3"...but they were great shows, great bands....and a good time!

Others that have been great: Robert Plant (1988), Styx (198-something), Chicago (a few times...yes, I really enjoyed Chicago!), Barry Manilow (lots of hot older ass there!), Duran Duran (again, lots of ass), Garth Brooks (lots of hot ass wearing skirts & cowboy boots!), Tim McGraw (see the brooks show), Edwin McCain, Sister Hazel, Sting....

Also loved Joss Stone & Katie Melua, Springsteen was awesome, too. Most disappointing one probably was U2 in Munich back in 2010: Bono sounded quite bad and the sound engineer(s) for that concert should have been fired ...
