I am surprised nobody has mentioned BLT Burger inside the Mirage.
This is my new favorite place to eat in Vegas. The Kobo beef burger here was even better than at the Burger Bar. They don't have the exotic toppings, but that didn't matter. The meat, bun, Swiss cheese and bacon morphed into a great burger. The mayo and A1 were served on the side and the pickles tasted just right. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. What put his place over the top were the milkshakes - SPIKED milkshakes. I had Grandma's Treat - vanilla ice cream, caramel, and Maker's Mark, with whipped cream and these caramel chips on top. I even changed my plans one night, passing up another burger joint to eat here a second time. Seeing a guy have a massive heart attack on the Mirage Casino floor outside the sportsbook did make me contemplate getting a salad (for about a second). However, I decided that I could not wait another year for another burger and shake from this place and I went on in. Second.

So, 40 Replies and no one has been kind enough to tell GEEZE that a good set of false choppers can be had for maybe $3000 and if you include a visit to a good prosthodontist, they'll fit well and you can chomp down on any meat that get into your mouth.

barman,

I hesitate to do that. Any prep work on my gums would mean I would have to stop taking the bloodthinner coumadin for a week, thus taking a chance on another stroke. (The first one was mild and more like a warning.)

The dentists insist because they don't want to be responsible for excessive bleeding that may be difficult to control.

I'd rather just gum the goddam food, and not gamble on losing vision or mobility.

Thanks to all for the great suggestions.

[h=2]Jack in the Box Now Has a Cheeseburger Topped with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich & More Munchie Monstrosities[/h]Fast Food
September 24, 2013 // 2:42 pm // By: Charisma Madarang

JUST IN: Jack in the Box is catering to stoner dreams nationwide and launching Jack’s Munchie Meal. The behemoth of a combo features 2 tacos, Halfsie fries (half curly fries, half French fries), a 20 oz drink and your choice of one of their four new late night entrees. All for $6 and only available from 9pm to 5am.
We see what you did there, Jack in the Box.
The new entrees feature some impressive heavy hitters – a grilled cheese sandwich piled on top of an extravagant burger and a chicken sandwich stuffed with an inappropriate amount of mozzarella sticks, to name a few.
Once we got wind of the news, we hit up a local Jack in the Box location to snap some photos. What we got was a glorious hotmess of melted cheese, fried egg and bacon — leaving our fingers greasy with gluttony. Something we definitely weren’t mad at.
Check out the full line up, aka drunk munchies care package, below:

Some of the purple boxes include a game of “Spin the Taco,” the chain’s version of “Spin the Bottle.” We were pretty excited at first, thinking this was “Lady and the Tramp,” taco style. Alas, the rules include such options as, “Kiss Your Taco” (got this) and “Text Your Ex” (not so much).

There’s also some really helpful “Napkingami” instructions on other boxes:

The menu makes its official national debut on September 26th:

In-N-Out Burger still my favorite.......First one I ever had was in California.......Been to the different ones in Vegas as well....

They need to expand to this side of the country......I like In-N-Out better than Five Guys (plenty of those around here) although Five Guys ain't bad I (just like In-N-Out Burger more than anyone else)

the kobe beef burger at The Burger Bar near Mandalay is a must. Will run you bout $25 but its the bomb

I'd try the Kobe burger at the Society Cafe in the Encore. Costs a lot less than the Burger Bar and it's absolutely delicious!

The Kobe beef burger at Holsteins in the Cosmopolitan is the best I've had and I live here. Gordon Biersch right off the strip has a very good one as well

maybe so...but I had one of there other burgers, and it was tiny, very below average, and overpriced. wife had lobster mac...and it was terrible. Holsteins is a complete disappointment.
Add China Poblano and the Deuce as very overrated spots in the Cosmo. I'm quite a foodie-and the Cosmo has the worst selection of restaurants on the strip imo.

In and Out has lost its luster since it expanded...it's still good though I suppose

[h=1]8 reasons Las Vegas says it likes In-N-Out more than 5 Guys[/h]By STEPHANIE GRIMES REVIEWJOURNAL.COM April 8, 2014 - 1:53pmAsk any fan of a fast-food burger to choose between In-N-Out and Five Guys Burgers & Fries and you’re likely to surface some strong feelings on which burger joint is preferable. That’s exactly what happened to us. We conducted a highly unscientific poll on Facebook to find out which place Las Vegas (at least, those of you who like us on Facebook) prefers. Here were the main points of contention:
The burgers
First, the most obvious. In-N-Out burgers are known for their simplicity. You get a few classic toppings and can go Animal Style if you’re feeling particularly wild that day. Five Guys has about a billion ways you can customize your burger, though. Of the people we asked who felt conflicted, most chose In-n-Out for its burgers alone.
Fries
Animal-style fries — with melted cheese, extra spread and grilled onions — reigned supreme among In-N-Out fans, with one fan saying they “taste like heaven.” But the Cajun-seasoned fries boosted Five Guys over the edge in this category.
Peanuts
Five Guys wins point blank if you’re looking for a burger establishment that also offers free peanuts. But commenters with peanut allergies noted that this, along with Five Guys cooking with peanut oil, is precisely why In-N-Out wins for them.
Price
You can get a meal at In-N-Out for around $5. Five Guys will run you closer to $10, and that was enough to knock it down below In-N-Out for dozens of our commenters.
Soda
In-N-Out has your standard Coke products (at least they don’t have Pepsi). Five Guys won hands down in this category because it has the Ferrari soda machines, though. Want an orange-flavored Diet Dr Pepper? Five Guys has you covered.
Choices
In-N-Out has had the same menu since 1948, when the restaurant was founded: three types of burgers, french fries, soda and three flavors of milkshakes. Five Guys’ menu has the variety you’re used to seeing at restaurants. As one commenter said, though, “when you haven’t had to change the menu, that says it all.”
They can’t be compared
Some commenters refused to make a choice, because the restaurant offerings are too different to be compared. In-N-Out styles itself as an American classic, while Five Guys goes for the gourmet burger label.
“This is like comparing a Fiji apple to a Granny Smith, or a navel orange to a clementine,” one commenter said. “Both are great; it just depends on what you are looking for.”
Neither
Some people refused to choose because they don’t like either chain, or prefer a home-grilled burger. Of 757 people, only 16 said they preferred a home-grilled burger or nothing at all. Another 67 brought up other burger establishments (Smashburger was the most popular with 14 votes). Ultimately, In-N-Out came out on top of Five Guys, 486-178. That’s nearly three-quarters of commenters who chose between the two.

Ketchup recently opened inside PH and it's pretty good. There was one out here in LA a while back that closed down. Big portions though...I split a burger with my wife, and there was still some left over.

Btw, to the poster who said White Castle...you can't possibly be serious? I don't know if a worse burger could be created if they tried.

In-N-Out Burger best ever. 5 guys not bad but not close to InN. So why the hell haven't I or any other eastcoaster cloned the IO burger and opened a chain under a different name? Can't miss right? Everyone that goes out west raves about this burger chain!

The best burger in Vegas under $10 is Fat Boy in North Las Vegas. The best overpriced strip burger I have had is at the Munch Bar in the Ceasers Palace. I have tried a bunch of the strip places listed here and that one is the one I like the best...... but to be honest you would be much better off to go to Fat Boy.

In-N-Out Buger is pretty decent for fast food but does not live up to all the hype.

I tried the in-out burger when I was there for the tournament and it absolutely sucked. I don't know how people can say it's the best cause I thought it was horrible.

The best I had in Vegas was at Mandalay bay and I forget the name of it but it was good
