I am picking 2nd in a 12 team draft tonite. I rank Gurley 1 and Bell 2. Even if Bell hasnt reported, i'm still picking him, right?

2 is a tough spot right now. PPR I would still take Bell

Hes essentially missing one week (even if he plays he will he on snap count)

Maybe Antonio Brown

DJ has as much or more risk as Bell. Cant reach that early for Kamara or Barkely. Really really tough spot to pick

Bell fell to 5th in my draft last night. Gurley, DJ, Zeke, Kamara all went before him

I prefer the 9 spot...it allows two solid picks then more time to study for rounds 3-4 etc...

12 was the sweet spot in our draft last night

The guy got Odell and hopkins...

Diggs was his WR 3. And he ended up with Collins and Dion Lewis at RB.

Because of 3RR he got first pick in third round and landed diggs

Hes stacked

If he reports week 10, he would get like 40% of his contract this year but he probably gets to stay alive so he can get paid in FA.

Only he knows his body, maybe he figures there is a good chance he gets hurt this year and then his FA stock is significantly compromised.

Still would bet on him being in the fold sooner than later, but saving a few games of wear and tear probably isn't the worst move for a RB coming off the workload he's had.

If they started bad, it would make him look good in terms of perception. Similar to what happened with Emmitt Smith when he heldout and Dallas started 0-2, then paid him and went on to win the SB.

But I'm not really sure if it would actually make him anymore money. Don't think Pitt is paying him either way.

Exactly. And he knows they just want to run him into the ground this year. Dont blame him a bit

Let's face it. This is a disaster for Bell owners.

Offensive linemen today were basically saying they wont block for him if he comes back

I love it as an Antonio brown owner. Even more targets coming his way

800k a week is a lot of money so I dunno how long he holds out. But holding out generally doesn't bode well for in-season success. Tough to just comeback and "turn it on"

Fans always blame the players and never the teams in this situation, but this is the 2nd time they tagged him, he's just using what leverage he has within the rules. Just like they are. Didn't want him not to report? Then deal him 5 months ago.

If I was drafting right now with current info i probably would not take him above 8 or 9 in the 1st.

Yeah, who knows how long it takes him to get going. Doesn't sound like the best situation.

He could return tomorrow or in 5 weeks. And when he returns, might not hit the ground running. Especially if Connor really impresses, he could just get more work.

I would still have a hard time not taking him at 9

Something sorta related.
I think Ingram got dinged too much adp wise with his 4 games .

If you could pick the 4 least important weeks for a running back and depth it would be the first 4 games .

His suspension is before the bye weeks start

His backup you can handcuff in like the 6th rd probably later. 2nd rd he will be my pick and I will stash him. He is going to play this season. He just is doing it on his terms because he knows this is his last year in Pittsburgh. I don’t want the drama on my team either but once it gets past the 10th pick he is incredible value. He is the second best overall player this year I agree right behind Gurley. If he wants to make it a 12 game season I will still be happy with that.

This year is different than last no question. Because he knows for sure this is his last year. But he also held out last year and reported on Monday for that Browns game. Struggled the first 3 weeks and then started to go off. He justified his number one overall pick in my mind last year
