What's newegg.com have to offer?

spent $500 on my Toshiba Satellite and love it. I too will not buy a Dell. You should be able to get a smaller Satellite than mine for $350-400 on sale I would assume. Good luck in your search and enjoy your new toy...

refurb with warranty MacBookAir with a SSD it would be the fastest computer you have ever seen the SSD is about a $400 upgrade.
Its only 799 with the link.

Not exactly dirt cheap but that a hell of deal.

Dont understand why people would pick an IPAD over the MBA

You cant compare this thing to the piece of shit you would be buying for just 300 less.

you can get an excellent refurb thinkpad directly from lenovo for super cheap. if you're considering lenovo, only buy a thinkpad. all other series models have major issues.

also look for the asus zenbook 13.3" with 1080p screen - refurbs for around $550 are constantly popping up for this model

Great deal but it says currently unavailable.

Have you ever dealt with this company before?

Thanks for the input.

What's amazon and what's walmart? @)

No problem...
Amazon is in Africa and Walmart is in China...i think they ship to the USA(the country you live in) pretty reasonably

if you're worried about the 12 days thing, maybe just go to Amazon, go to Laptops, put in your price range, and filter by popularity? Look for something inexpensive... A quick look found me this one:

If you like Mac OSX then I think buying used is a solid idea.

I think the reason I like Mac's and the Mac OSX as much as I do is because I really haven't had many problems with them.

Like I said, when I had my Dell computers not one of them lasted longer than 1.5 years. I think that's why I have such a distaste for Pc's.

I don't mind Dell for a Home Computer... I have had 3 in the last 15 years... and the 2nd one was fine, I just wanted a better one.
The 3rd and Current one is going strong for 3 years now.
But I Won't get their laptops... probably for the same reason most don't like them...they make a shitty Laptop

On my 3rd Laptop.... and all have been Toshiba
again the 2nd one was replace Only because I wanted to Upgrade... the 1st was fine too... gave both to my daughter so if she wanted an extra laptop.

Outside of a Mac user, IMHO Toshiba makes the best Laptops.. all of them have been Satellites

I agree, and the price is right as well. Toshiba Direct actually has good deals to be directly from them. I found mine onsale though elsewhere online. For $500, I'll put it against anything twice it's price.
