Dante u keep talking about those who bought tickets(which i am one) but even if i didnt I had planned that weekend. While I was there my wife scheduled to go with the kids up north which she already told relatives and the kids and already took the time off of work. I just think its kind of garbage this happened.
I understand this is an awful big undertaking, i understand how awfully generous, and I understand shit happens BUT that announcement was pretty set in stone. On top of that what could have come up the stopped it. Vegas didnt shut down. If they couldnt get a group package they could have maybe paid for half the room and see who still wanted to make those dates and pay the other half instead of changing it. Also if it looked shaky last Monday why not put out a notice instead of a mod accidently putting it in a post.
If I get banned for voicing my anger so be it but I have a feeling numerous people feel this way and like usual im the only one crazy or dumb enough to say it.

I understand it does sorta suck the date change BUT you can get a refund from them if you can not make it or attend the mini bash...isn't that what the RX said they will do?? some will be happy with the date change some not....at least they are not leaving you high and dry which they could do ..

The concert had initially been scheduled for monday but had to be moved when the Ottawa Senators made it to the finals.....

With school starting for my kids in early August, it helps to have one early for me. But I guess that I can hit my dad to watch the kids for 4 days or so. But my dad still works so it could be a bit tricky for him to get them ready for school. But I will try in September.

Im in similar situation. Unless some fantastic deals arise, no reason most of time to reserve airline tickets too far in advance and Im as likely to drive to LV as fly.
Not a big deal, but I wont be going to Sept bash. Not wanting to be away from home during high school football and I prefer to be home for nfl opening week and early ncaaf Saturday.
2007 has been a rough year all around for offshore gambling and looks like bash is included.

Can we at least get an official reason why the original bash date was changed? The new bash date in September kinda sounds like a mod meeting with a few posters in attendance. Will any mods be there in August?
