First off percentages do not mean crap in baseball. Look at the Profit you could go 4-2 and be - if you bet crazy favorites. Secondly, if you talk to experienced bettors, baseball provides the best source of profit and most Vegas Casinos post their worst numbers in it. Books clean up in the NFL. Too many games every day to get a good clear line. In NFL they have a week to put out a line and adjust it. baseball has 20 plus games every day.

Barney,

Experienced bettors do not hang out on forums asking for people to post plays for free!!!

If baseball is so fricking easy to beat, why is there not a tout that the groups can agree to buy.

Baseball is by far the toughest sport to beat. Ask any bookie!!!!

Vegas Runner over at pregame says that the books don't like taking baseball action. I agree with Barney.

Fraser, I understand where you are coming from, but trust me on this one. Baseball is a very profitable player game. There are too many games to cap. The thing about baseball is many people do not play it, the total volume on it is far lower than any sport except for hockey but I know someone on the inside at a major vegas casino and they do not like sharp baseball bettors. To name two touts who I have spoken at length with in person and on the phone, Tony Stoffo and Bob Akemns, baseball is a very strong sport to play. Tony Stoffo wrote what I consider to be one of the 3 best gambling books ever, namely on various money management techniques and raves about baseball being a hidden gem. I am not trying to pontificate here but rather just say that I have a difference of opinion on it with you. GL on all your endeavors.

I gotta agree with the ones that say bases is profitable for bettors. My buddy here in Vegas works at a casino and talks with the book writers all the time and the book gets killed in baseball but makes it all back plus a ton on football and some back on hoops, not as much as foots though. But lets not bicker about this all the time. I think some of us are maybe looking for another baseball capper. I kinda want to get Erin Rynning, anyone else interested?

What about Stan Sharp? His package up to the All Star break is $595.

It may be better to continue the 30 days all sports approach until the nba playoffs end . B.c he will most likely be 50 % nba & 50% mlb thru late june . Unless they (pregame) offer a nba playoffs pckg ( he was the sportsmonitors #1 nba playoff capper 2 yrs ago ) we get more value out of the 30 day pckg until the conclusion of the nba .

One thing is for sure after a month of stans baseball evryone will be able to tell the difference between a "touts baseball " and a man who wagers his own games . :smokingbb..grind ...grind all day long....

He seems like a solid capper. Plays mostly totals. About 3 plays a week and usually isolates good value. Haven't followed him for baseball although.

Just for everyone's information, the following Sportsmemo handicappers have individual baseball packages available for the entire month of April priced at $399, first half until the All-Star break for $999 and for the entire 2009 MLB season for $1499:

Tim Trushel
Rob Veno
Teddy Covers
Brent Crow - Alatex
Donnie Black
Fairway Jay
Erin Rynning (arguably the best of the bunch for MLB capping)
Jared Klein
Marty Otto

are his (Erin Rynning) plays going to be posted on this site? If so
thanks

Have you looked at Andrew Powers for baseball?
His baseball record for the season was 111-49
That would be +42.4 units with -140 juice on the losses

There are a lot of cappers with good records on there

What is the average juice on their losses?

Andrew Powers, William Kidd and Wizard seem like the best baseball cappers on there

are Powers' plays going to be posted on this forum?:103631605

Going back to last season's results from the Sportsmemo group, I would say Erin Rynning, Teddy Covers and Tim Trushel in that order are their top baseball handicappers.

I emailed sportsmemo about 2008 baseball records and here is the email I got back:

"Here are the baseball records from 2008

TT 91-85 +3.6
FJ 111-108 +1.3
ER 115-121 -3.1
TC 116-116 -5.6
RV 263-276 -23.8

While last season Erin was basically "break-even" he had delivered
back-to-back monster campaigns in 2006 and 2007 and netted over 40+ units
those two seasons. He should have a big campaign in 2009.

Alatex, Klein, Otto did not do baseball last season but are doing it this
year."

I feel that ER is the best out of this group.
