Meant to ask if my use of "downtown" and "Camden Yards area" is pretty close to same?

Keep in mind that I'm not wed to any location at this point.

Looks like I'll aim for hotel closer to downtown (CY?) so I can get a bit of night time feel for Bmore that is not stale like the airport.

VERY INTERESTED in good roadhouse blues bar if anyone can suggest that. Would likely mix that in either after Orioles game or on the night (Tue or Thur) I don't go to Orioles game.

More surfing has me taking a hard lean towards Thursday night at Camden Yards on accounta I think I may now stay in DC for Tuesday to see The Nighthawks in Arlington VA

Plenty of time for me to narrow it down.

The only "firm" dates are Sun and Mon in DC and THur in Bmore

Almost as firm is Wed in NYC

So Tuesday remains open depending on whether I sleep in Bmore or DC

Post the tentative itinerary whenever you have some sort of consensus and I'll see if I can adjust my plans accordingly. I'm hoping at the minimum to come out to HH in DC, hopefully I can watch the Nats destroy the Orioles too.

I know you hold a lot of information close to your vest, grins, but I just have to ask: where did you go to HS? (Just to get a feel of where you "grew up" during your teens/20's).

If I was hearing (and my parents didn't move to Frederick, MD, because of the deaf school there), I might have still lived in Fallston and went to the HS there. The HS was just a block away from my old home. Both my parents are from Parkville, but the rest of their families lived in Baltimore just as well as my deaf gal's family.

Barman, some of my friends love going to Fells Point, I seem to go there only once a year, though. Guess I'll be missing out some of the fun later that week, no problem. I work near Arlington, VA, so I will contact you when you have firmed your plans for certain.

I think this would be a great idea and would make the drive up from Northern Virginia (although SkinsRaj might term me a no-show POS from the NCAA bash in Reston, VA to which I owe SKINSRAJ, DSETHI O.D.KU and possibly JUICE an apology for leaving some gambling boys to hang for personal problems involving an individual without a penis that doesn't enjoy wagering on sports - what was I thinking :nohead: )

Since I work all over the region-I know just about every nook and cranny of every street in the metropolitan area, literally speaking I've been up and down almost every street many times over....from Cecil County to Anne Arundel to Prince Georges to Montgomery and of course Balto Co. :thumbsup:

I believe you that you have been everywhere in the region... I only am very familiar with Glen Burnie area as one of my best friends lived there so I commuted a lot a few years ago (imagine me driving from Frederick, MD, to Falls Church, VA, for work, *then* going to Glen Burnie to see my best friend/ex-GF; the worst part was that I normally couldn't stay overnight there so I'd have to go back Frederick late, LOL).

As for Baltimore, my GF's parents lives now in Greektown area.

Anyway, before I post this reply, here's a picture courtesy of Google Maps about Fallston HS and the field off Fallston Rd. BTW, my old home of 7 years (from when I was 2 years old to 9 years old) is in this pix, too, LOL.
