Still not sure how Indiana diodn't cover -1 1/2 vs Gonzaga out in Maui, 3 point lead as the clock is winding down. Stepp launches a 3 and the jackass below the basket catches it and puts in a 2 pointer as the buzzer goes off, they lose by 1. Good thing i didn't have a gun in the house at the time!
brock, even worse about that game was the fact that indiana was killing the zags up like 18 1/2 way into the 2nd 1/2.. they were then up 12 with like 3 to go.. and then after a slew of zag three's were up just 3 with seconds left.. A missed three, had us the cover, the fag that put in the meaningless air-ball for 2 to make it a one point game had me pissed like i haven't been pissed in a long time!

How about Kansas St/Nebraska, November 1998.
K St is - 10 1/2 if i recall correctly, they are up 4 with less than 30 secs to go. Nebraska QB gets sacked and fumbles, K_ST TD!!
There was a no call on the play where the QB about had his head ripped off on a fask mask when the ball was stripped, but the thing that takes the cake was K ST NOT going for the extra point to put them up 11, they send out Michael Bishop to take a knee on a supposed 2 point conversion play.
Good thing i rememebr was having K-St - 9 1/2 so the 10 point win was fine by me, but i remember hearing and reading about people in Vegas sportsbooks being in just a complete uproar about the ending, having a cover stolen away by some stupidity.
One of the absolute craziest ending to a game/spread outcome i have ever seen.

game 1 of NBA finals.....have the under 190(bought)189.5,189.188.5,188........was a huge play for me as I took a huge play on the under,loved the play.......I was right on with the move as the line went to 185 by game time,so I bought my shitload back and was sitting with a huge middle.....long story short,the game looks like it has no shot at going over,which is O.K because I still have huge position on the under.......anyways,they score something like 25 points in last 2 or 3 minutes to put the game right on the ##......it's at 187 with 7 seconds left I think,.....jersey is down 14,so the professional thing to do would be to run out the clock and get the fuk out of town......what do these fuks do?they fast break down the floor and proceed to get fouled with a few tics left.....oh,and by the way,he makes the basket.....so the 3 point play to end the game fuks my middle and my play,and my feel for the series......worst beat this year.......

i put $40 on a 6-teamer in vegas. i make the play then drive home since. 3 plays were nhl games - which EASILY won. the other 3 were college bowl games. i get the 1st one in.
the 2nd one is va. tech +16.5 vs. nebraska in the orange bowl. tech is in the game, and down 34-21 with about 2.5 minutes left. nebraska has 3rd and 12 at about tech's 25-yard line.
if tech stops them and makes the huskers try a FG i win by a hook. in a play i can still see today, scott frost takes it around the end and runs 25-ish yards for the TD to put the steroidmong*rs up 41-21.
but - i know there's still enough time for tech to get the backdoor score to get me the cover and when beamer pulls a reverse on the kickoff - it works and tech suddenly looks as if they are gonna run the kick back for a TD. but, they get knocked out around the huskers 25. i have over 2 minutes left and am feeling a LOT better now.
tech gets a 1st down and has it about the 12 with about 1:30 left - more than enough time. they throw an incomplete pass. then, they run a draw. ken oxendine has the ball and there isn't a husker defensive player within 10 yards of him. the blonde in the first row is closer to him than any husker. oxendine is gonna score and my $40 will turn into almost $1,800.

around the 8 yard line, a tech offensive lineman was lying on the ground. for some reason only oxendine will know, he CAN'T STEP OVER THE LINEMAN AND FALLS TO THE GROUND! of course this is college ball, so he is down. all he had to do was step/jump over this lineman and he scores untouched.
the next 2 plays tech throws incomplete passes and i lose the play.
the next day byu beats k-state outright for what would have been the 6th part of my parlay. to this day i HATE ken oxendine and jim druckenmiller (to show you how much of a schmuck jim d was - for 3 years he dated/was engaged to julie cialini - who was a playboy playmate as well as playmate/year - and their relationship broke up when he slept with some broad at tech when he came back for some reason - what an a**hole he is).
