I turned 33 today and im livin at my parents house.
Im a union laborer who normally makes $1000 a week after taxes with a full 40. its more than enough money to go live on my own, which i have before. It aint like im some braindead millenial retard suckin off mommy teet still lol..
At 27 my X and i had a kid than everything went to shit. I stopped renting our log cabin on the river and After all the dust settles, i end up with full custody of my daughter and the mother moves away to colorado. Life just threw me a major curveball, Now what the fuck do i do ?
I usually wake up for work between 3-4 am everyday depending on how far the job is and when we finish & when i get home is always a mystery. My daughter starts 1st grade next week, in my line of work it'd be impossible for me to get her "ready for school, on the school bus, than get her off the bus". Not to sound sexist but this is your typical "mom stuff".
I was raised dad brings home the bread, mom takes care of the family.. Us millenials, we done fuck family values all up!
I really dont have any other choice at the moment im kinda stuck here till she gets older or i get another woman in my life.. I toss my parents close to a Grand a month to help with bills and groceries and it is what it is.

why are you embarrassed? you have a scenario in your mind that is 'normal'? BE KIND to yourself . STOP beating yourself up. You have a daughter to raise. You ARE paying rent. You recognize your parent's kindness and are grateful. Lay some goals. Keep them close to your heart and nail them.
you want your daughter to grow up as a responsible person? 1st step is stop beating yourself up. stay well
There's Nothing embarrassing about Your situation. That happens unfortunately.
I give you all the credit in the world because you are doing the right thing.
You need to work to support your Daughter , she's at an age that you need help and what better way to have Family able to give that help.

1 bedroom apartments are about $1,400.00 a month.
When you feel its time then you can go.
My Daughter went off to College and when she was done, she came home. Then took an Apartment for a year and then came home.
Stayed, had a full time job until she got married.
I believe Girl's are just different than boys and need their parents more. Plus I feel you don't care if your Son is shacked up with some Girl... You don't want your Daughter shacking up with some guy.
Only reason she came home after the year on her own was that she lived in Manhattan and the rent was $2500 a month.
from the start she said she wanted to try it out, signing a 1 year lease. I told her whatever she wants to do is fine with me. I even gave her the first 6 months rent.
We both felt it was going to be a Test.
