Hi Chelsea:
First of all welcome to the RX. Now as to your questions, when a poster shows his/her picks with decimals, that is an indication of a unit size less then 1. For those that use words, like small, medium, upper medium and large, they have decided not to assign a unit size but rather a scale range with small being the weakest and extra large being the strongest plays and finally, a unit can be any amount. It is a money management indicator. We have players that wager from $5 to $1000 or more per unit. Hope this helps answer your questions. Feel free to ask anything you wish in the future and most of all, best of luck.
Hi OMT,
I love this forum, has been a really knowledgeable forum on getting a second opinion for my picks and amazingly, I've become a baseball fan (I'm from Canada btw). Anyways, I noticed on the Baseball section of the forum, alot of the guys there will post their picks and then describe their picks with a number in decimals (i.e 0.6, 0.25, 0.5) just wonder what that is interpreted as and if you could give me an example for it as well. And finally, what does it mean when people say, "small, medium, upper medium, large" and how is that ranked? For units, every person has their own equivalence, it doesn't have to be 1 unit = 100. Thanks ahead for the answers
