Try to get into the newer section, which is the shorter buildings to the left. More modern and larger rooms, also less traffic around the elevators and you don't even need elevators on the 1st and 2nd floors (1st floor is ground level, 2nd floor is perfect IMO)

The older building is being redone, still nice and has much better views from the rooms

JC, Already booked Divi Phoenix.

Willie, It didn't give me option to choose which side. I am guessing i can choose once at the check in? If not no biggie. I am not so picky with that because we don't plan on staying in the hotel much...mostly for sleeping at night.

Willie,
Do you have any insight on the car seat rules there? I ask this because when I went to bermuda we took two car seats for the kids and never used it since nobody uses it there and the highest speed limit is 60km/h (37mph). should i bring the car seats to aruba?

If you can be so specific, I would request the new side on the 2nd floor. For all the reasons mentioned plus that floor has giagantic decks which you can see in the photos. I'd might call ahead if I were you, just to see if you can make a specific request.

Why would you want your child in a vehicle with no car seat anyway

Thanks guys.

My car booking got cancelled because they don't have any of the 4x4 that i wanted.
I am going to try to find one again tomorrow.
But before I do it, please let me know if its better to do it there in person there or from home. I noticed there is a car rental place not too far from divi and its a local place, should i just drop in their and get it after i check in. i am checking in in the evening so probably wont need the car until next day.

Also, if i cant get a 4x4 i am going to get a regular car. is this a good idea. is the regular car enough to visit the light house side and the north west shores including the natural pool in that big park? or is it sandy and i am going to get stuck?

You can do a lot with a regular car, like Baby Beach and the Lighthouse.

But you cannot do the natural pool, at least I strongly advise against it

Try Top Drive or Jays car rentals. Good local companies cheaper than the brand names
