The Rockies can and have scored runs this season and facing Volquez should help the run production. Volquez hasn't impressed lasting just 9 innings over his two starts and batters are hitting .366 off of him. The Padres struggle to score runs and facing Chacin won't help them in that department. Chacin has looked sharp this season going 13.1 innings over his two starts and sporting a 1.35 ERA. I am tempted to take the run-line, instead I'll lay the low number and hope the game plays to what the numbers suggest. 1.13 to win 1.00. Luck & Laters.
thanks BORO, me too. Adding Rangers -1.5 (+1.21) @ Mariners. I just don't see the Mariners scoring runs tonight. I haven't been overly impressed with the Rangers either it just seems to me that tonight the Rangers find ways to score runs off Saunders and the Mariners will be lucky to score two. 1.00 to win 1.21. Thanks, I am going back to the well this afternoon. Rangers (-1.30) @ Mariners. Last night I felt that the Mariners would score two runs, they scored one. This afternoon I again see them challenged in the run scoring department. They face Tepesch who had a nice outing against the Rays going 7.1 innings and the Rangers winning 6-1. It should be mentioned that the Mariners are without Morse, Saunders, and maybe Guitierrez that's a lot of offense when your team is struggling to score runs. Also, the Rangers will be facing Maurer who is having a tough start; 6.2 IP & 16.20 ERA with .469 BAA. I think that Tepesch gives the Rangers a better chance of winning than Maurer does and I like the Rangers offense better than the Mariners this afternoon. 1.30 to win 1.00. Luck & Laters.
