I went against Pelfrey last time he pitched and I got it handed to me. I'll buck him again tonight and take the home pitcher Guthrie whom I feel is the better of the two pitchers. Guthries last outing saw him go six strong innings with 9 strike-outs and giving up a single run. I believe that the Twins will be hard pressed to score runs tonight. 1.48 to win 1.00. Luck & Laters!
Friars @ Dodgers (-1.60) Again, I dislike laying this much juice but I don't want to wager the run-line with a home team just in case. Real simple, I like Greinke a lot more than I like Marquis...I can't imagine anyone wouldn't. Dodgers are playing good ball winning 4 of their last 5 while the Friars are struggling losing 6 of their first 8. I just feel things hold form and the better squad with the better pitcher wins tonight. 1.60 to win 1.00. Luck & Laters!
1-0 (+1.00) last night. 11-2 (+9.25) Mets (-1.05) @ Twins. I'll back the road squad this evening. I like the fact that this will be the first LHP the Twins have faced this season and the Twins best hitters are from the left-side, not the strongest angle. Basically I look at these two squads as even at this point in the season, I'll take the pitching advantage and lay the low number. 1.05 to win 1.00. Luck & Laters!
