Been going on for years...imagine all the stories that will surface....

The real stories will be those college athletes who didn’t get paid....

As a Cuse fan I've been watching this investigation - never seen Cuse's name surface - but I'm pretty confident that AZ, KY, NC and Duke are getting shut down soon

Probably because they have a NIKE contract. I was thinking these schools and agents were all tied to Adidas but I could be wrong.

Duke/Kentucky both Nike.

Blame UNC. They are the originator of this type of behavior

Wisconsin will eventually be the 2014-2015 NCAA basketball champs when corrupt Duke has to vacate the title. The Badgers ass raped Arizona a couple of times in the tourney even with Miller having a team payroll more than some NBA teams. Hope this flows into football too. Clean up the swamp.

The FBI has recordings. He's not innocent. He's fucked.

ESPN said the FBI has recordings, that doesn't make it true and that doesn't mean he said something bad. It certainly implies such, but it doesn't prove such.

Dook lacrosse bullshit comes to mind

or Mortensen being used to report false information about deflate-gate

or Yahoo's lying hit job on UConn, where they admit their most damning facts were wrong long after publication

This is perfect

Congrats to the FBI on catching Arizona coach Sean Miller. You missed Nikolas Cruz, the Boston bombers, the 9/11 attackers, the San Bernardino terrorists, the Fort Hood terrorist, the Pulse nightclub terrorist and Larry Nassar but college sports is safe.

no shit, why are they investigation NCAA violations?

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Miller gets all the recruits despite is inability to win the big games. Wonder why? Now we know.

This is a scandal straight out of 1999, next thing you're gonna tell me is that Enron was cooking the books.

really can't understand why a blue blood needs to do this stuff. duke, zona, kansas, unc, uk, ucla, lville, msu have built big enough programs that you simply don't need to hand guys 35k, 50k, 100k to play for you. I totally get the whole Ole Miss football thing...historically shit program that hasn't won the SEC since Joe Namath was QB at bama wants to suddenly be relevant but doesn't make sense for arizona.

College basketball has always had a way of lionizing coaches, it's just an easy way to market the game since player turnover is so high. But these guys are hardly Bill Gates when it comes to brilliance, they're grinding every edge they can get and some of those edges come from breaking the rules.

The funny thing to me is how incompetent these guys are, have they ever seen The Wire? The head guy doesn't even talk to anyone, you just have some local booster who owns 19 car dealerships drop a briefcase off. No need to be singing like Sinatra on the phone. Even Silvio Dante told Richie Aprile "No talkin business with the skip"

And this is why the FBI routinely drops the ball on things like the Florida school shooting,.

Because they're too busy dabbling in the sports world...

More sizzle and little chance of getting shot. Agents are chasing promotions, chasing high profile "white collar" cases provide a higher ROI while also not making it look like they are targeting the disadvantaged, ballplayers walk with no consequences.

That's just not true, the part about smoke and fire anyhow. Certainly not true in 2018, we've seen a lot of fake smoke
