Two best hitters in the league, Howie Kendrick and Chipper Jones both from Jacksonville, FL. Coincidence? I think not. North Florida boys know how to get it done

Funny you laugh at that since I am having a much better baseball season than you, and the fact that I have only had one losing season in 4 years here at the forum.

But of course you are always like that.

I think a book would gladly give you +500, and throw in the rest of both leagues.

When you say losing, are you talking %, or $40.

June 1st and still hitting over .400

Not a bad prediction being that this thread was started in April.

No chance in hell. Jones a good hitter, but he is not a pure hitter.

First post wasn't a prediction? Don't quite see how you asking if people think he can hit .400 is a prediction.

Let's not confuse Chop with the facts.

Chipper Jones will be in the HOF without question...but he won't hit .400 for sure...but he has always been a stud for the Braves...unlike the other Jones...

Musial in 48' was way over .400 at this time of year. Brett in 80' & Olerud & Gwynn all were flirting with .400 at this point. Their final averages were between .376, .390, .394 & .357 if I'm not mistaken.
A real speed demon may have a chance down the road, none of those mentioned nor Chipper is a speed demon.

Same here, I got him in the seventh round.
If healthy, I see 23 HR 85 RBI .333
