I spend alot of time on Futures and pounce on mistakes. About a month ago Canbet put Gonzaga at 100/1 I bleive because they heard about a couple of injuries. The 2 guys are coming back and it just gives more players a chnce to play. 3/1 and 4/1 plays are sucker bets. Unless UConn has 6 blowouts they will lose in a close game with their pathetic free throw shooting.I also jumped on Stanford at 75/1 early too.

Stanford at 75-1 is a good bet....Gonzaga wont win it all either...You guys have been watching Hooisers way to many times if you think Gonzaga or St. Joes will win the tourney!!!

I think Gonzagas chances are better then St Joes, but there are no dominating teams out there so I believe 12 teams have a chance. When you have 5 seniors on the floor at the end of games like Gonzaga has, thats important in the tournament. They flat out wear teams down in 2nd half. Just ask Missouri, Maryland and Stanford how they where you down. I have some money on Duke at 8/1 and UCONN at 7/1 but basically thats just to get my money back.

Best of luck in all your futures. I just dont see how Gonzaga or St. Joes will win the tourney. Thats why they call it gambling, we all have our own opinions.

People were alos laughing at me when I bet the Marlins at 80/1 last summer too. I'm not saying there going to win but their on a level playing field this year.UCONN and Duke aren't locks this year at all.

John Doe, I think you get it. I know I'm not going to cash most of my futures but at the end of the season I'm going to make money. Cubs at 15/1 to win pennant last year. I bet Florida heavy as a hedge. same thing in World Series 80/1 on the Marlins. I bet the Yankees heavy. I was going to be a winner regardless. Point is if the Marlins ticket wouldn't have been cashed, it still would have created a winner for me

that is exactly the key,, to get enough value to where even if they dont win it ,, a smart astute shopper can still profit alot all the same. you must get good enough value in the beginning to where its hard to lose if u have half a clue. that is what these people dont understand,, some that is. you may be the first person ever to have a number one seed at 100 to 1 . i honestly dont think they will win the whole thing either , but i know i will win money on the overall proposition . Meaning if all goes somewhat right u should bank at your price. you will be hedging huge dogs at least until the elite eight, even if they slip up.

UCONN better learn to shoot free throw pretty quick because they will be in at least a couple of games where they will have to make them and from what I've seen so far ............

you are correct red eye,, i did play them going in to the sweet sixteen though to get 29 to 1 at all word to be precise. didnt play before the tourney,, i saw that wake was already beaten and oklahoma was way overrated and jumped at the chance to get 29. only regret was only put 225 on it. oh well

Or hedge at halftime if I have a decent lead. Ga Tech was another 100/1 bet too. Right after they beat Uconn in the preseason Tourney I grabbed some of that.

gordan has not stepped up in a big game since junior high . honestly. i like uconn alot,, just not him,, his piss poor shotting and horrible d cost them the carolina game. last year vs texas in the elite 8 he might has well not even showed up? stanford is very solid this year, but not spectacular, dont feel they have the horses to run up and down with a very athletic team . Zona is down bad this year, making those wins less than spectacular. for some odd reason i think texas at 33 to 1 has some strong potential.

I think Pitt is a much better team than UConn, while Duke if Reddick and Duhon are in stroke is tough to beat..there just are too many top 15 teams capable of beating the elite this year to find value in the chalk, unless you truly feel there is a team of destiny from the chalk(St.Joe, Stan, Lville, Ky, UConn, Duke).

Miss St, Arizona, South Carolina, LSU, Wake Forest, Vandy, Fla, Okla, Ind, MSU, Pur, Gonzaga, Kansas, UNC, GT,etc..all are teams that could drop ANYONE on their head in one game scenarios.

With the state of Free Throw shooting in college basketball this year, I would be looking for a mean FT% by whatever starting five that I picked.

P.S. RedEye, you are right, I've seen Gonzaga twice(had Stanford against them), and they are tough physically and mentally, and play NCAA Tourney Time type ball, they make for a great longshot.

where did you get that 33/1 ?The best I could get on them is 25/1 so far. I agree their dangerous. I think people are waking up to Miss st. Thats another 100/1 possible #1 seed also for me
