Hi. I like parlays on baseball when the pitchers are in the 2.30-2.50 range. I find a 3teamer can get me a little better than even money and a 2 teamer just under. I suspect the bookies love me and would probably send a limo for me if I asked. However, I find it fun and a little betterthan laying 2.5-1 Being a non-pro I tend to like favorites i guess that makes me square as opposed to being sharp but so be it.

You will not find 1 professional gambler who does what you do with parlays. However, do not for one second listen to anyone who tells you that you are a moron as long as you are making money. There is an old saying that you are better of being lucky than good. I will never forget that one. When I used to do things gambling wise that totally went against the flow and were jeered by my friends, I won more then than I do now when I try to do everything "right". If you are making money with it, keep on trucking. If it starts to turn, perhaps you should go with traditional straight wagering where you are getting some value with reduced juice, etc. Illini, GL!

All he played was 6 team parlays and we know for sure he single handily brought down two books.

7-1 (plus your stake) is true odds. I'd be a little leary of that unless they are a well established book.

In your opinion, is there a decent earn for a book who offers 6.5 to 1?

Oh they did? They were a high flier for about a week. They were lucky to have the three knock down rule waived and I think Legendz back them until they could dump them on I think MVP.

I think one of the BetOnSports shops offers true odds on Thursdays during football, can't remember which one...

Rio,
Well, at 6.5-1 it's still a higher hold than a straight bet at -110. So 6.5 - 1 would have a hold of about 7.6% vs -110's hold of 4.5%.

My math could be way off but I think I'm right that a 6.5 - 1 has a better hold than a straight bet so I would say yes.

I disagree.

Theoretically, maybe.

BUT a book like that attracts too much sharp action.
