With MLB season just around the corner I figured I'd see if we had any members lucky enough to come away with one.

I have a ton of batting practice balls that the Blue Jays used but my grandpa got them for me when I was still little so I've never had the chance to catch one.

On a side note, my dad was coaching little league baseball on a team I was on and a foul ball found his car windshield...

My father has owned season tickets for the Orioles since they moved to Camden Yards. The seats are six rows behind the field on the first base side. You can almost touch the first base coach and player. Between when I was a kid and now, I've probably been to 150-250 games. My dad gives any tickets he doesn't use to friends, family or clients so those seats have been filled for over 2000 games.

I, nor any of my friends or family who have used those seats has ever caught a foul ball in them. No client has ever told my dad they got one either. I've only been close a few times. It's just a really strange spot on the field I guess since most foul balls go way farther into the stands. My closest efforts are when someone from the railing on the next level drops a ball or one hits off the ad/scoreboard.

I was sitting in a semi-packed area at TROPICANA FIELD(even with 1b) and caught TWO FOUL BALLS in a span of THREE PITCHES!!

Poster Patrick McIrish and Kyhawk were with me to verify this..............

I gave both balls to young toddler two rows in front of me.

Haha I don't think the left fielder would have been angry if you went onto the field to try and retrieve it after the play.

About ten years ago I was at Royals Stadium sitting about 20 rows back on the third base side.

My beloved A's were in town and Terrence Long hit a high foul pop that was coming my way. I had about 3/4 of a cup of beer and lunged and caught the ball one-handed, not losing a drop of beer.

The fans all were cheering me and I was eating it up.

I've been to a gazillion games and never mustard a foul ball even when Charlie O owned the A's and there were 1500 or less of us in the crowd.

I go to a Sharks game one time and catch a puck.........go figure.

I have "caught" 2 fouls balls at MLB parks.

First at Fenway park behind first base. It was a line drive that hit me in the gut. I held on despite being grabbed at by what seemed a thousand hands.

Second. Last Season at what was Comisky park in Chicago. This time however it hit me and deflected into the empty row in front. Luckily i was able to be on the bottom of the scrum and captured the ball.

Both of which are proudly on display in my son's room

Caught one back in '89 I think. The old Cleveland stadium, off off Torey Luvollo's bat of the Angels.

Caught a foul ball at a Mariners game VS Boston Red Sox once. Gave the ball to a young kid in front of me and the dad bought me and my friends a round of beers.

Foul pop by George Vukovich in the stands in rightfield.

Bunt attempt by Larry Bowa that bounced off the third base dugout and landed under my seat.

Troy Glaus off Freddy Garica
Bobby Estallea off Troy Percival

Have almost 100 from Batting Practice. Lived about 5 minutes from Qualcomm in college and used to buy $3 ticket and get there 2 hours early for BP. I had a BP scouting report on every Padres hitter.
