Lately things have been going good for me, but today I was sitting on the couch and I was watching the Cubs with my Girlfriend. When the Cubs got beat, I threw the remote at the wall and was pretty pissed off for mmmm. .. .the next 3 minutes. Anyways the comment that my Gf seems to always make to me when I am having a losing day or even one of those dreadful weeks is. .. .. .


"Why don't you just pick the side that you would normally bet and then just bet the other side?"

It always seems to piss me off and I was just wondering if any of you guys have heard the same thing over and over??

It is very annoying discussing gambling or watching games with those that dont gamble. Hopefully you find other things to enjoy with your significant other.

Just finished telling a new one tonight. She first was shocked and said she must think about her son and how I might be a bad example on him. I told her that I did it for fun and never bet my rent money. She then warmed up later in the conversation and seems fine with it. She is a very nice chick and is awesome looking ,but she would have had to go.
