I think you are missing the point but it is fine. Your "it will be around the same price" statement was wrong, would you agree with that?

If you think the difference between -150 and -300 is of no consequence I guess that is an opinion. It is one I wouldn't agree with but I wouldn't tell you how to bet obviously, was just making a suggestion in regards to value.

Of course -150 now is not the same as -300 later. But what good is current value if players are injured and never a part of the match-up. I could argue that -300 on the Heat in June is much better then -150 now! How many futures tickets blew up last year when Derrick Rose went down? I play to cash and am willing to pay a higher price if my chances of winning are greater.

Here's is today's first play:

Ticket#:xxxxxxxx
Apr 20 03:03 PM
INTERNET / -1Apr 20 02:56 PM
NBA
STRAIGHT BET
[702] N.Y. KNICKS -365

3650 / 1000

I dunno what to say really, you said it would be the same price. 75% chance and 60% chance aren't remotely the same price.

If you think it is more value to wait that is a up to you but it is not the same price.

Should be an interesting finish to this game though!

The Heat embarrased the Thunder when they last played them and the Spurs don't have the defense any longer to stop the Heat!
As big a fan I am of the Thunder, I would have to agree. Arguably OKC had a better team last year with Harden. It starts with HC Scott Brooks. I just don't think he's the kind of coach that can take his team all the way in the NBA Finals. He's not exactly a rah rah type of coach, and I've never cared for the way he's utilized his bench. If they had somebody like Poppy from San Antonio I would be a big believer in the Thunder. He is and has been the best coach in the NBA for a long time. He can find talent where nobody sees it deep into the NBA drafts. And he utilizes it better than anybody else. It's why the Spurs are the only smaller market team to win the NBA in many years.

Well said. What I have noticed is that against an opponent like Miami, they cannot finish. Westbrook dribbles the ball too long into the shot clock leaving them little time to get off a quality shot. This will haunt them in the playoffs when many games come down to the wire.

I'd say crazier things have happened but I'm not sure anything crazier than that has ever happened.

Unless you count willie99 being right about a prediction.

I did go thru the forum hoping to see a post from willie that said "heat will win easy and i will be spot on"
