Any one ever get a Red Light photo ticket??

I swear I got one of these last year and would have sworn on EVERYTHING there was no way I ran a red or whatever because I was going the same way to pick someone up every day and turning right at the light.. in the photo they sent I was like wtf.. like was red I stopped then I made a turn.. whats big deal? Was ready to show up in court..etc... then I noticed they said to goto site for a video.. I thought okay...

Went to site and the video literally shows me casually rolling through the red with a right hand turn.. still very illegal and pretty much etched my court case in granite of guilt.. lol

Paid the thing and avoid that intersection now

No, but wife did when we were living in Phoenix. Were told by some friends not to pay, that ticket only valid if issued in person. About 2 months later we get a knock on the door at about 8pm, and with a few glasses of Cab in me I answered. This meek dude handed me the paperwork and muttered "sorry man" as he scooted away. End result: $275 for ticket, $150 for the cost of having it served in person, and another $150 for cost of mandatory defensive driving school b/c of nature of offense. Ridiculous example of "money grab".

I was told the same thing but after reading the ticket a few times realized that I could be served. Opted for the online traffic school. Easiest thing I ever did. They highlight the answers for you.

My wife swore that the flash that she noticed going thru the intersection had to be wrong. When the ticket arrived in the mail, it came with 4 very clear digital photos showing that she was guilty as hell. The frontal shot showed her hunched forward looking up at the red light. LOL

A judge told me in court along time ago that if you arent aware of receiving anything in the mail then you cannot be found guilty of the infraction in question since you didnt know anything about it. In this case it was for driving on a suspended license and i still plead guilty even though he was giving me the way out..(young and stupid at the time),,so then I get one of those running a red light things in the mail and disregarded it and even researched it to find out its not enforceable. That was a few years ago and nothing happened,,now when I think im close to running a red light I just cover up my face with my hand as i go through... also heard that the cities that pay companies to set up and monitor these cameras are just hoping that people pay these tickets without even questioning it
