the Knicks have been shoving down their fans throats the past 3 years #1 priority was clearing cap space to go after Lebron.

I just don't think they would have signed Amare first and let it get out if Lebron wasnt next......

I also dont believe Amare would sign with the Knicks unless he knows some one is joining him. remember he didnt leave on the best of terms with D Antoni...something must really have him intrigued him to squash that and come back with him.

ESPN just reported it. Tommy Dee was way ahead of them..... but I think the only way this is a good signing is if this persuades Lebron to come to NY.

what? comon dude amare can give 2 shits about winning that is clear as day. what makes u think he wouldnt sign that contract unless someone is coming there? the suns wanted nothing to do with him he had 100 million reasons to sign, no other team would of gave him that money outside of maybe the nets.

NBA ROUNDUP

Knicks get eighth consecutive victory

Amare Stoudemire scores 24 of his 30 points in the second half of a 129-125 victory over the Nuggets.

Associated Press
December 13, 2010
Amare Stoudemire scored 24 of his 30 points in the second half, Wilson Chandler made a tiebreaking three-point basket with 30 seconds left and the New York Knicks beat the visiting Denver Nuggets, 129-125, Sunday for their first eight-game winning streak in 16 years.

Stoudemire set a franchise record with his eighth consecutive 30-point game. Chandler finished with 27 points.

Winning for the 13th time in 14 games, the Knicks (16-9) are off to their best start after 25 games since they were 18-7 in 1996-97.

Funny thing is everyone is on the knicks and heat jock for beating up on bad teams. Well the bulls have a better record than the knicks and the schedule the knicks just played well the bulls are about to see the same shit teams the next 14 games. They won the 1st 2 and will win 10 of the next 12. mark my words the bulls will be 25-10 way ahead of the knicks.

honestly, Chris bosh looked great on a shitty team where there was no pressure... Amare is doing the same. If they make waves in the playoffs then I'll give 'em some credit, but the regular season, especially in the East, means next to nothing.
