Looks like I got really lucky, as my last transfer using Neteller was an EFT deposit of $500 to open an account at a new book. I'm in Canada but I won't be withdrawing to Neteller in the near future. I'll just ask the books to send me a check. It might cost a little more but it's worth it for the insurance. This may cut off a lot of line shopping options though, until a suitable replacement is found. Any early status on what people will be using?

the thing that gets me is i have not seen 1 person say they been paid if requested on the 15th or later? i mean they might be swamped but they should still be able to send some checks out and eft's go thru:ughhh: people saying not to worry are crazy this is not looking good for any of us.

I made an EFT request on the 15th and it hit my bank the morning of the 17th.
On a side note...I made a small instacash deposit on the 16th to see if it would still work.
The deposit was made to the book but the money was never taken out of my bank account.
Today when I signed into Neteller the transaction between my bank and Neteller was listed as declined and I have a small negative balance with Neteller.
I guess that means the pipeline between my bank and Neteller is now closed.

Based on their FAQ page, I have a feeling that our money is safe at neteller. It's just that it'll take a long time for them to process our withdrawal. What is your take on this?

it won't be good if all these people are screwing Neteller out of money....hope it won't delay withdrawals to the rest of us

It's real easy to panic and who knows everyone could get stiffed. However, if Neteller were going to stiff they would just stiff everyone. Going by what I have read EFT's are OK except for the US. If Neteller stiffs the US, the banking laws are strict where they are at. They won't be allowed to continue with other countries regardless. There actions don't add up to a company that is going to stiff, although it is being poorly handled IMO.

I'm waiting for my EFT's to clear. I check basically every 10 minutes, its real fun.

FH, I requested one on the 13th, accepted but funds haven't hit BoA as of today. I just got off the phone w/ Netller and the CS said that even one week prior wd's are backed up and could be 3-4 weeks. If you got your loot into BoA, you are lucky guy...but I figured as much- cheers-

Update on my EFT request: I requested it days ago...and like most of you, it said "accepted" but apparently is going to take a couple weeks to get processed.

I looked today, and now the status has been changed to "pending" again.

Not sure if that means anything, but I figured I'd mention it.

All of the neteller requests that said "Accepted" and never hit your bank account will be automatically resubmitted....and then return to a "Pending" state. That's what I was told the other day.

Neteller is not stalling for time. What does that mean. If their not going to pay US customers then that's what will happen. Stalling for time is someone trying to prevent their car from being repossed so they can hide it. I mean what's Neteller trying to do put a couple of billion dollars in some suitcases and leave The Isle of Man.

They said they had technical difficulties with the processor. So they're trying to resolve this problem.

It better be technical difficulties and not some betonsports BS stalling tactic so they can keep their monies and close up shop.

They said they're having processor problems. They sent it through and I think that's why it said "accepted", but they encountered processor problems, so they are resending it, trying to anyways, and that's why it's back to pending.

My EFT request from the 16th shows as "Accepted" (has for 3 days) and hasn't been tranfered or re-processed (to my knowledge).

It was showing as "Accepted" for about three days...then today when I checked, it had changed to "Pending."

No $ in my bank account, though, obviously.
