I just spoke with someone in Merchant Services.

Issuing cheques is a 100% manual withdrawal method, handled only by a small accounting staff. Cheques must be printed, enveloped, sealed, addressed, mailed. The normal processing time is 2 business days. With exceedingly high volume of withdraws right now, he said to expect cheques to take 2-5 business days to be fully processed.

You will receive email verification at that time.

Normal direct-to-bank-account withdrawals are as normal.

Absolutely no reason to panic whatsoever. This is a volume issue, not a theft issue.

You may have been told that, but I am just going to voice my opinion on the matter and those that want to use it can. None of this is correct!!(aside from maybe the part about it being manual) It isn't a matter of time, they aren't sending out ANY currently and no time frame has been given on when they will be, but hopefully I will find that out from the helpful gal that will be calling me tomorrow morning allegedly.

DITTO!

Also, agree with the points Xpanda pointed out...........to manually mail out hundreds upon hundreds of checks is going to take more time than usual.

So why is what gentlemen from Merchant Services told me untrue, but what you heard from a CS rep is gospel? Of COURSE that rep you spoke to sounds frustrated ... what sort of state would you be in taking call after call from panicked and pissed off gamblers?

Anyway, my NETeller debit card worked about two hours ago. If they were stealing everyone's money, it wouldn't have worked. Direct-to-bank transactions wouldn't work, either.

No reason to believe they are processing one kind of transaction but not another.

Never once said it is gospel and never once said they are stealing people's money, in fact my opinion of the situation stated the exact opposite, just gave my opinion on exactly what I feel is going on for those that want to use it as a guide. If even one person respects how I feel about it and can use my thoughts as a guide in how to proceed then it was well worth it.

They can not steal your money. They are regulated by UK banking laws.

The only way your money gets stuck is if the Feds stop it.

Got off the phone with buddy who was using his Neteller atm and spit the money right out.

If you don't like all those 20 dollar bills got to a casino and they spit out large bills.

Neteller has the money, hell 8.9% they are swimming in money!

First, that's a CS rep. Surely you have seen these past days that CS reps often do not relay the correct information? Secondly, there is still no reason whatsoever to believe NETeller is going to shut down without refunding people their balances. Think about what you're saying, here. This isn't a company run by fugitives, for chrissakes.

Yes, but this particular CS rep actually DID relay the correct information. All I've done is report exactly the way I've been stalled for two days, and I'm not the only one. No one can say it's NOT a red flag.

Good job on the call to payables.

Well, that's just it...It's an air-tight excuse, but the Feds freezing their accounts doesn't do me or anyone else any good. Maybe they should cut those checks and lick those stamps a little quicker if that seems like a possibility.

Did they state this explicitly? I called the Neteller VIP line approximately two hours ago and was told that at least temporarily they were unable to do EFTs and that they were recommending to customers that they cancel their pending ones. (I allowed them to cancel mine, and I transferred those funds back to some books.)

Can you confirm for certain that this has changed, and EFTs are functional once again?

Good move, getting it cancelled. Did all you can do at this time.

No problems here. EFT says pending, but no problems logging in or navigating the site
