god why didn't grammer wait out CBS so that "Back To You" could be on CBS, Hank is terrible, don't know what he was thinking.... The middle may be better than I thought it was going to be.
back on the subject, Modern Family is great.
Watched the premiere of Modern Family and have not laughed that hard watching a tv show in a long time.."Drama queen??" "no he's not"... enters with the Lion King song and spotlight...hilarious..Second show is Tivo'd can't wait to watch..Highly recommend!!@)
last night was even funnier...they are going to the mommy and me class, and the fat one comes out in a paisley shirt over a pink shirt....the little one says" paisly and pink"? whats the matter didnt your mesh tank top fit?
LOL...
so the fat one says, "fine, i'll wear a pair of khakis and a polo shirt, and they'll just think we're golfing buddies who decided to have a kid together..."
great stuff
Bucs or someone else. For some reason I can not get the Premiere to play on my laptop from ABC. Can you post a link or embed the show into this thread. My wife has to see the first to enjoy the rest..
TIA
I hardly ever watch anything besides sports and reality TV, but I DVRd all of the Wednesday comedy shows and watched them last night. Except for Cougar Town, which was mediocre, I don't think I've seen a funnier lineup of programs since back when "Cheers" was on NBC on Thursdays.
"Hank" was hilarious, and "The Middle" was even better. Both were quirky and funny. Not your usual run-of-the-mill sitcom garbage. Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton can both carry a show, and the actors who played thier spouses and children were also great. The guy who played Hank's brother in law and the little guy from SNL who played Heaton's co-worker were terrific, too.
And you are right about "Modern Family". Like a domestic version of "The Office" - only much better. The fat gay guy's comments after the one lady put down Meryl Streep had me rolling on the floor.
Bravo ABC!
Best segment in "The Middle" was when the kid got suspended from the football team for calling his coach a "moron" because he threw a bomb on 4th and 1.
