only show on network tv that i record at the moment is Fringe.
I know there are other shows that are entertaining and good, but that is the only one that has me hooked or considered must see.

god why didn't grammer wait out CBS so that "Back To You" could be on CBS, Hank is terrible, don't know what he was thinking.... The middle may be better than I thought it was going to be.

back on the subject, Modern Family is great.

agree....i though "Back to You" was very clever and had good writing, was a nice show......but never had a chance on FOX, the way they scheduled it....now just a year later, both of the stars are trying it again on ABC, with new shows, when they already had a solid show to start with....ABC might have been better off to just buy the rights to "Back to You"....in a decent time slot on a big network, it would ahve done well..

Bucs or someone else. For some reason I can not get the Premiere to play on my laptop from ABC. Can you post a link or embed the show into this thread. My wife has to see the first to enjoy the rest..

TIA

I hardly ever watch anything besides sports and reality TV, but I DVRd all of the Wednesday comedy shows and watched them last night. Except for Cougar Town, which was mediocre, I don't think I've seen a funnier lineup of programs since back when "Cheers" was on NBC on Thursdays.

"Hank" was hilarious, and "The Middle" was even better. Both were quirky and funny. Not your usual run-of-the-mill sitcom garbage. Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton can both carry a show, and the actors who played thier spouses and children were also great. The guy who played Hank's brother in law and the little guy from SNL who played Heaton's co-worker were terrific, too.

And you are right about "Modern Family". Like a domestic version of "The Office" - only much better. The fat gay guy's comments after the one lady put down Meryl Streep had me rolling on the floor.

Bravo ABC!

Best segment in "The Middle" was when the kid got suspended from the football team for calling his coach a "moron" because he threw a bomb on 4th and 1.

i thought it was even better after his partner made him change clothes and be tamed down for the class, and then about half way through another 2 gay guys come prancing in, flashy and all, and everyone loves them.....the fat guy says "are you kidding me"? "I would have killed with this crowd but you clipped my wings"....
